I believe there was some early physical play that had teams at tension at one another...if you see earlier, Irving was knocked down by the Serbian guy who sort of laughed it off (he might have thought Irving was flopping), but it was a foul/physical and I think the US squad took exception to that, etc

+A5Ronic - @3:20 or so - when players from any country/place see that happen to a teammate, they tend to not be gracious people who help the opponents up after that...even if YOU say it's a common block, the EFFECT/Irving possibly being hurt is what causes people to then not be polite/etc. Hope you understand.
The Usa team deserved to win, but Serbia also has very good team. I've seen entire match and it was nice to watch it. Hopefully in next years we will have more competitive Serbia and other european national teams so that we can watch more interesting matches in Rio and next fiba world cup. I suggest you to see Serbia - France semifinals match, it was absolutely fantastic.

Mikhel Viado That 2012 Team was "ALMOST" beaten by Spain (107-100).. Spain was able to get the lead at the 3rd qtr of that game.. And they won against Lithuania with just 5 point lead.. That team was great but not great enough to blowout every opponent.. That GOLD MEDAL team who won by only 5 points against Lithuania and 7 points against Spain.. The 2014 USA team was able to beat their opponent with at least 21 points.. No team was able to manage to lose with a close margin against 2014 USA Team.. Both teams are oozing with talents but I will pick 2014 USA team against 2012, 2010, and 2008 USA teams..

The "B TEAM" that was able to WIN all their games with at least 21 pts. lead.. Again i will repeat this, the 2008 USA TEAM has only won spain with only 11 PTS in the Finals.. SPAIN was able to cut the lead to 2 PTS in the 4TH QTR of that game.. And in 2012, SPAIN WAS ABLE TO PUT A BETTER CHALLENGE against the 2012 TEAM.. SPAIN GAINED THE LEAD IN 3RD QTR of that game against 2012 USA team.. AND 2012 USA team won with only 7 PTS lead.. That's a very disappointing win.. 2014 USA team won all their games with at least 21 PTS. lead.. That's why 2014 USA Team was by far the BEST USA team since 2000..

Congratulations Team USA! I am from Serbia. The best way to show how good you are is toget out on the field and try to win. I have never seen a stronger team of America than any previous selections. For serbian basketball this finale really meant a lot. This has returned our confidence that we can compete with the best. Serbia has not had the results for ten years becouse of disrupted system of values. Now that everyone dreams of millions agreements is questionable to play for the national team. Something that has for years been a characteristic of American basketball spilled over to Europe. All those who say that the American team have been better if in the previous competitions have led professionals should be ashamed. When you refuse national dress you devalue the meaning of sport . All those who refuse to national dress are garbage. National dress shirt dress not only the best players, but also the best people. This is something that most people put on the back. Serbian team with which America has played had played completely new with new coach. This is his first appearance! Our potential is rising and we getting stroger. I almost like this team better than the original Dream Team. Not as loaded with superstars but a very complete TEAM that thoroughly dominated everybody. Coach K is doing a masterful job. You can tell by the celebration at the end that this title meant something to them.

The crazy thing about alot of the Usa players is they are actually better in 2016 compared to 2014. And they will be on the Rio Olympic Team. Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson and Boogie Cousins are better players 2 years later.
