CHILLS!!!!! I was an MTI and I would get such a huuuuge adrenaline rush when this played!!!!! There's nothing like marching to this with your campaign hat on!!! Leading the way!!! Ahh, the memories!!!!
K Moore I enjoyed marching to this tune back in bmt but i cant seem to find what its called or any recordings of it, not even on cds of USAF ceremonial marching music. would you happen to know what its called or where i could find it other than here on youtube?
Fury Incarnate I had to spend 3 weeks in 319 with those losers because I had appendicitis during week 2, it was absolute hell living with them and recovering, straight up fabricating stories about their “shin splints”, almost drove me insane. Could not wait to get back into training and graduating made it that much sweeter.
I went in 1996, 331st TRS.. we had actual music while we marched, and i have been trying to look for that same track they played for us when we marched, even pass and review at tech school once a month. They included songs like God Bless America, my country tis of thee, but many other tunes that still ring stuck in my head that i never knew the names of and will probably never hear again.. but that is the reason for my dislike (no music)
hell yeah! When we did graduation practice right around the 3rd week of training on the weekend and the instructors played this song, ohhh the anticipation just runs through my blood. And speaking of which, I just graduated from BMT a couple weeks ago!
Went through BMT in '04. I remember they had this wired up to some large speakers and we spent hours marching to this. Seems like another life ago until I hear it again and remember it like yesterday.
I graduated BMT almost 3 months ago and listening to this makes it seem like it was just yesterday we were rehearsing for graduation. I was also in flag mass, so we practiced more than everyone else. Great times from BMT. I absolutely loved marching to this. 331 TRS Wolfpack! Lead the Way! Lead the Way! Wolfpack!
We were 323rd for the first 4 weeks, then everyone had to transfer squadrons for some reason, so we got transferred into the 331st squadron and during graduation we mixed the squadron call into “WOLFPACK! Lead the way! Excellence always! No excuses!”
I watched my son graduate in this parade. It was foggy and you couldn’t see the formations but could hear the drums long before they arrived. It sounds corny, but my mind went to a revolutionary soldier waiting on a battlefield and hearing the British drums in the distance as their army approached.
@@Anthony_in_MT I don’t wanna go full conspiracy theory but whenever I heard the national anthem and rendered honors for the I could never remember what I was thinking of before that moment
EYES.....HIGHT!!! *Snappy salute* Flag mass was god awful in the wind but man it made me proud....A1C Cody M. Wytko class of 2018 Flight 371, 331st TRW "Wolfpack"
from hearing this in band practice (i was in band flight), to the thursday of the airman’s run, to parade field on friday.... this snare part holds meaning to me to this day and i’ll never forget the memories of bmt.
I’m in the Civil Air Patrol California Wing. Yesterday, my flight was marching to PT and one of the senior members decided to play this for our journey to the track. It was fun.
It will never leave you. It’s been 19 years for me and I still remember the grass under my dress blue’s shoes. Stick with it Josh and enjoy every day you are in. You will only miss it when u get out.
MTI: STEADY, STEADY, nice and STEADY! COLUMN HALF LEFT, MARCH! FLIGHT... HAULT! Flight: STEP, STOP! Those were the days. Used to march to this. 324 TRS FLT 055 KNIGHTS!
I will never ever ever forget this cadence. I haven't played it in 18 years and I still play it sometimes like it was yesterday. I guess you March in enough vets day parades etc and play it to death, it happens. Should have had the transition in there to the Air Force song.
On one Saturday practice my flight MTI literally said, “Guys, I ain’t gonna lie to you. I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing right now, this is the military version of “send it.””
*WHATS THE MATTER WITH!?!? WAIT UNTIL HE TAKES HIS THIRD STEP, THEN YOU GO!!! STAY IN STEP!!! 45 TO THE LEFT ON THIS MARK!! KEEP YOUR DRESS!! KEEP IN CADENCE WITH THE BEAT!!*
SinisterPenguin hell yeah not to worry man it’ll fly by. My tech school was only 2 months long. I’m Aerospace Propulsion. Is the chaplain still running in the morning? Lol he was awesome
Where's the music part? We would practice this and it had tunes like God Bless America, My country tis of thee, this is my country, the air force song and few others i never figured thier names
