Fabulous , the C17 is a superb aircraft with incredible capabilities, unfortunately my country chose the Airbus A400m, a very expensive aircraft which has not yet been fully developed, too many crashes and too many breakdowns

Sad, worked MDC LGB from 1987 to 2002 as an Aircraft Dispatcher so I dispached a few of those in flight test and production. Got to go on some of those flights.

I was pleasantly surprised with the powerback, since that's a super rare manuever for most airliners. Only with special stuff like this!

Just seen one of these flying very slowly over my home in Yorkshire, England! I guess the guys were flying out of the USAF base near Harrogate? What a beast, absolutely magnificent, so glad I saw it!

In FSX, XP-11 it's my all-time favorite plane to fly. I have been around the world in the Flt Sim with it. I continues to show it's capabilities even in that environment. I wish I could just sit in the left seat of a real one and look around the Cockpit to see all the stuff. Have Friend whose son was at McChord as C-17 Squadron Commander and Check Pilot, he retired and went to flying the 737.
