i got to the airshow about 10 minutes before this started. was one of the best things of the night. i personally didnt like the raptor that much before the airshow but afterwards there was no doubting that it is an AWESOME aircraft

@@Aviation_Videos well he means by the prototype. The US had announced a couple months ago from now (sometime of September 2020 around there I remember) that’s it’s already flown a 6th gen prototype. And they said it’s broken a lot of records. They built the plane in one whole year. We’re building two 6th gen aircraft. The F/A-XX program for the Navy, and the F-X program for the Air Force. It’s expected to have both aircraft ready by 2030-2035. They will have laser weapons for defense and offense as well as the capability to control drones. It will also have the ability to be optionally manned (can be piloted by a man and be flown by AI).
@@thecrapinmytoilet6892 I have heard that. But it is also true that the F-35 is also capable of controlling drones and testing on it’s engine has shown that it is powerful enough to power lasers. So while those things are next gen, they are not exclusively 6th gen traits
I think the biggest shame is that they don't put the raptor on till late ( full house by then ) and by that time you are looking into the sun. They really need to put on multiple displays during the day.
