Wish I had been at Half Way Tree to share that wonderful feeling. Well done Usain Bolt such a wonderful athlete and I am so pleased for JAMAICA. Can't wait for my next visit to JAMAICA. Be proud JAMAICA of your Gold Medal Winner.
I'm a proud Jamaican girl, love my people, love my country, poor, rich, black, white,EVERYBODY! They say out of many we are one and I think that's why our people are so unique. Happy 50th Independence Jamrock & we all obviously have alot to give thanks for & to be proud of, pushing all negatives to the side. To all our athletes in London, we love each & everyone of you, just go out & do your best & we will be praying for you.
@j j On record yes, but you don't know who died early or never tried athletics to see their true potential. Pedantic yes but I imagine that was the context to my post 7 years ago
Im so proud of my country right now Happy 50th Jamacia ---- BIG UP Usain, Yohan, Veronica, Asafa, Shelly, and all of our great athletes. Love unuh >>>>
Another memorable Olympics performance by Usain Bolt.Back to back GOLD medal winner. I am so proud. The first one was speechless, the second outstanding. All business. And congrats to Yohan Blake as well and Gatlin on his Bronze. Jamaica, We the best.
I am proud of all of them. Asafa entered the olympics with an injury and still reach finals!! man deserve every respect!! I am glad everybody still big up Asafa!! happy for Usain and Blake!!!
I'm not American but historically, the U.S has the best sprinters bit it's nice to witness Usain Bolt's legacy. No one has brought this much excitement to track and field.
Big up mi fren' Danielle Jarrett get feecha pan youtube han' google!!!! Big up mi sprinta dem, Usain, Yohan and AFASA-way-to-go!!!! Wi luv unnu!!!!! Asafa wi still luv yu! You mek finals and you are still one of the greatest sprinters in history, and you are the only man in the world who can walk 50 of the 100m and STILL get 11 seconds!!!! You BAD!!! Yow unnu "SUPERBLE"!!!!
As a former sprinter who could only run 11 flat, i can tell you, that Bolt is not human. Before bolt it was assumed it would have taken 20yrs to break 9.7
Beautiful, a very special moment in history. Bolt and the team done Jamaica and the West Indies very proud. Look pon di ooman wid de two pot cover..lol.
note that the only reason I say this is because people are dissing the US sprinters. When it comes to the history of the Olympic games their is simply no comparison between the US and any other nation. Before Jamaica was a Nation state the US was winning gold medals and establishing a history in the games. Take Jesse Owens for example. We are one family of the African Diaspora I am glad to see JA in the spotlight...in London with so many Jamaicans in the house
Jamaica all the way............ Big up to the entire JAMAICA Olympic team (den aggo tied fi see wi face, but dem caa get wi outta di race......Bring it to dem Ja. wen wi bad wi bad and wen wi good wi damn good
They get excited just like any country gets excited when their countryman runs the fastest time in the world, defends his title, gets a gold medal and breaks a record all while being watched by 3 billion people.
If it were not for slavery, Jamaica would not have the sprinters that they have. We welcome any challenge and just a footnote. It took 60 years for Bolt to break the great Jesse Owens record and judging from what I saw, his margin of defeat was not that large and his record will in no way stand for 60 years. You can believe that. U.S. athletes, both black and white kicked ass in the Olympics and that is for sure. Black Americans are the greatest athletes on the planet!! We just blessed!
