Still remember his first race at Penns relays. As soon as they said his name bolt, I thought this guy is going to be fast! Lighting bolt.⚡️ His journey has been fun to watch.
@@delubiod1970 bruh Messi has almost wiped pele out of everyone's memory. Until someone mentions pele's name that's when we remember him. Bolt will forever be remembered.

@@divine6602 Yeh I keep saying the same thing to myself, it's hard to believe he's gone sometimes 😪 But at the same time his spirit will always live on in our hearts
Here in Africa names have meanings and can either raise or suppress one's vibration as you internalise and respond to them. His family name, Bolt truly resonated with his spirit and destiny
@@Transformwithpuviyeah it’s crazy the distance he puts between himself and other runners once he gets to top speed. By the way this race was a 150m straight.
@@jorderer5 That would mean that Usain Bolt was running at a speed of 22-25 miles per hour in that race, but meanwhile, he looked like he was running 26-27 miles per hour
Key thing about Bolt was his stride length for being so tall. The Average 100m runner completes it in 44 strides, Bolt did it in 40 strides, hes already 4 steps ahead before even leaving the blocks. 😅
he was just 22 when he set his record.. if he continued his training never went to a lot of parties, never had injuries he couldve set under 9.50 in 100 m under 14.20 in 150m (like this clip). and sub 19.15 in 200m
thats because of the tech. he needs to be technical about it its not like hes forcing his body. normal people just force their body to maximize their speed
@@hotdogman3603Bahaha why would you list speed in miles per quarter-pound? The audacity of thinking anyone else in the world still uses the imperial system like we're all from Libya like you!!! 😅😅
Nothing special about it, as his entire athletic career was a politically-driven farce. Decision-makers always made sure he only raced against runners much shorter than him (i.e. think shorter legs). Because they knew he would lose otherwise.
He wasn't because he had to keep some of his endurance that whole race of he were to run past a speed trap for like 3-5 seconds to see his top speed it would easily blow everything and everyone out of the water
Even on his last againt justin Usain bolt didnt look like he give it all.. it seemed like scripted for him to lose on purpose. And on many races he would slow down
He didn't reach his peak, once he set the world record he relaxed and even started partying more, and yet was still wayyy faster than other athletes. Usain bolt is actually scary
Everyone says his height is an advantage, well sure it’s an advantage in the last 30-50 metres but the first 50m it’s a disadvantage, yet he still manages to keep up with the smaller, more strength for size guys acceleration
@@apex__underboss8038 You don't reach in sprinting, its a hop. Leg length is practically irrelevant when in the normal range because you're doing small jumps. So no tall people do not have an advantage. That would only apply if one foot was touching the ground while the next step is taken but thats not sprinting that's how we walk 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the fact bolt is taller isn't the reason why he has less strides. Its more based on force production than anything else. Take any 6'5 sprinter or taller and their strides will never be as low as bolt. Tyson gay and Blake have less strides than basically everyone no matter if they are taller. Bolt is the only one with more strides because his force production is higher. You see how looking at a few things can make you believe stupid things? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@samo6083 inserting launging emojis unneccesarily makes you look more stupid than you really are, strides have much more benefits than just hopping over, I can tell that you have never sprinted in your life by those opinionted and made up thing you listed, Usain's geight gives him an advantage in the last 30-40 metres as the OP suggested, anyway since I made a total fool of your argument, you may figure out some real facts before you come to argue online or else you will keep getting yourself embarassed.
This clip is deep. When you start a goal with your friends, everything is sweet and fun. At some point they start falling behind one by one until it’s just you, running through the paths of life all alone 😔
@@timileyinbanjo6631 he was originally a 400m furthermore you always slow down once you hit your maximum speed, his main event was the 200m dont spread false facts.
@@Queen-be6md he hasn’t spread any false facts 😂🤣 why ru so triggered that he says that 150m is perfect. I can agree with him/her here bcos Bolt walked to the finish lines on many occasions in the 100m but he never effortlessly walked across the line in a 200m when trying to win. Especially with competition like Yohan Blake and other fasts 200m sprinters
This dude is 6'5" and moves like he's 5'9". The force that he acts on the ground is 5 times his body mass. It is absolutely unbelievable. And we might see more athletes like him in the future. It's like Kevin Durant and Kristaps Porzingis in the NBA. These guys are skyscrapers yet move like 5 footers. Sport is just evolving.
There is no one even close to him. The times in the 100 are now slower across the board. Gay and Blake were second and third place guys running 9.7s. They would by far be the fastest men today running those times. Bolt made everyone better. No one will ever beat 9.58.
@IsaacThisRU-vidrsum wrong with u, let the person be happy about the fastest man alive from his country instead of wasting ur time to say something mean and unreasonable 😂
Everytime Usain Bolt races (watch literally any race) where he does something insane, the sticker on his right thigh ALWAYS goes flying off which is crazy bc it happened for all his WR
It’s so weird because his start offs seems so slow but then it’s like he out of know where gains the momentum and then doesn’t even look like he’s trying 😮😮😮🔥🔥🔥
@@youfellforthebait2555unfortunately you are incorrect. Bolt had a terrible start but once he made up for the stagger his top speed was unmatched. His height and stride were also huge bonuses for his speed.
You are correct. His start out the block was terrible I would attribute it to his height. But his height also was his blessing because he had the best stride in the history of track.
Imagine you the fastest nfl player and your team is down and you get a chance to take the game in your hands only for the other team to get a suprise breakaway and the dude who got the ball is bolt
Love, Honor and Respect to Usain Bolt the fastest Jamaican Sprinter on Planet Earth. Honestly, I really want you to come back to the sport because it just not the same with out you. Yes, even if you don't race again but your present who makes all worth while to see the fastest man who changed the Sport of Track and Track forever.
You do realise Bolt broke the 100m and 200m world records at the 2008 Olympics 🥇🏅 then broke them again the following year at the 2009 World Athletics Championships 👍🏾
Bolt had long legs which meant he should have been slower off the starting line. He just wasn't though then his long strides in the second half just left some of the fastest people on earth in the dust. Incredible.
I feel so sorry for the other runners who were unlucky to compete in the same time period with Usain. They are basically fighting for the second place lol
