Another great review by my favorite reviewer! I am the same way each time Apple comes out with the Airpods I can never get them to fit my ear and they always fall out. I usually have to get aftermarket wear. Glad to hear Apple has addressed this issue! Onto get mine now!

I couldn’t have had worse timing, I got the AirPods Pro 2 like a month before these came out 😂 I’m not too mad though, my gen 1 were on their way out and I charge my AirPods Pro via MagSafe like 90% of the time anyways so I’m glad to have the adaptive mode and a battery that’s lasting again.

My AirPods Pro 2 updated last week, and I took an airplane flight with them. The adaptive transparency mode was on and I could hear the announcements in the flight but not the loud sound of the engines, I could still hear them but lower volume. I wish Apple would just sell the case in the Accessories section and make it easy.

Just got these yesterday and didn’t realize until today just how new these were with them being USB C. This 2.5 version really is super nice! For these being my first ever wireless headphones, the transition is insane! Been wearing these all day. Have to appreciate the engineers cause the battery life is super good!! For them being as small and capable as they are, you gotta give props to that innovation.

Mostly are software based features except usb-c and other vision something.. when the recent software update in airpods 2, I've got the same features such as mute vs unmute, adapative audio, etc.. not against with the recent airpods with usb c. Just explaining my thoughts about the features because it's already in the recent update in airpods.

How different of a in the ear feel is it compared to the original airpods? I am wondering because I want new airpods but not sure if they will feel the same. I tried the pros and had to return them because they were way to big for my ears.

No one gets me hyped about a USB-C port like iJustine! Mine show up on Friday, can't wait! I have the first version of the AirPods Pro and my left AirPod is kaput with a constant buzzing noise and my right AirPod Clicks every time I take a step. So they're on their way out! Also? Just picked up my usb c AirPods. I had the lighting version but I lost it during the move. Idk why but these feel better even tho they’re pretty much the same. It’s the minor details that I’m noticing like slightly crisper audio, better noise cancellation. Haven’t tried the adaptive noise cancellation just yet but I’m excited 😆

I am HYPED for USB-C. Lightning has been a fantastic connector and when it came out it was way ahead of everything else. I mean remember micro USB and then that weird micro B double head thing? YUK! Lightning was great but Apple should have switched to USB-C for the iPhones and accessories at the same time that they switched the iPads and Macs. It's worthy of ridicule that they didn't do it until legally forced to. But even so, I am happy that it is here and all of my devices (bar the Apple watch) can be charged with the same cable.

Lightning was the technology made by Apple. And if any manufacturers who making accessories for a mobile phones want to do a charging cable with lightning. Then these manufacturers have to pay Apple for licensing. It’s a lot of money and for Apple it was a free cash. The more different brands do accessories, the more licensing money Apple gets. That’s why Apple tried to keep lightning for a mobile phones as long as possible until EU pushed hard on Apple and forced to do USBC phones as a single standard. In this case Apple won’t be making free profit, because USBC isn’t made by Apple.

Ordered these as soon as they were available. My 2nd gen AirPods have batteries so degraded that they last just 40 minutes. Very excited for such a massive upgrade!

You are very lucky, I had my 1st gen Airpods for a few years and the batteries were so degraded than they only lasted 1 minute out of the box.
