Regular subscribers may want to ignore this video, I have a Skyrim mods video coming later this week for you. :) Video correction: The latency was actually from the Pi Zero. This video was recorded right after I downgraded my Vita to firmware 3.60 which I later found out solved my controller latency problems. xCorra is currently working on a way to completely eliminate latency. As you can see, even with it things are still very playable.
@@Alex856100 It seems the Bluetooth functionality for me was messed up on 3.68. It wasn't only causing the controller latency, Bluetooth audio range was also horrible on 3.68. Worse BT driver perhaps?
Well, if Sony would have made al ps vita as the ps vita development kit, there wouldnt be a need for a dock, the dev kit vita had mini hdmi output and you could play on an hdmi monitor or tv. Anyway there is a plugin for ps vita to stream video to a pc and allows to record gameplay.
I was literally searching for a solution like this last night... What a wild coincidence for this to pop up on my feed. I'm honestly so impressed with your results, I have no idea how you did this on a technical level. You guys should be proud of what you've accomplished here, sincerely. I'd love it if you guys could continue this project and further improve it. I'd also be extremely interested if you continued to document your progress through video updates! This really is fantastic work. Is there any way that I could offer support? Do you guys have social media I could follow? Do your partners have their own social media? Honestly, I'd love to support you guys in any way I can, as this is something I've been looking for and now because of you guys, it's finally here!
"hi I'm the only video showing vita streaming via raspberry pi zero, please ignore my video. There won't be any links, as I'm just showing this because I can."
Hi! 1st of all I really like what your team did. Im so lucky that I discover this method right after I purchase ps vita. Also, Im so glad that you work this project on raspberry pi zero. Cuz that the only pi that I have. But quick question. When u always boot up the raspberry pi zero for docking are you always going to type in the code every time it startup? In the future is the pi zero going to be the same as the pi2/3 docking where your going to put the ps 2 logo and just dock your vita without putting code. Lastly, do you guys have discord for some quick question and answer?
Sorry, I'm not affiliated with the project anymore. I did my part and haven't heard about it since. You might search around the vitahacks subreddit to see if there are new versions of the Pi Zero image.
Awesome! When this is cleaned up a bit more (pi autostarts when vita is plugged in, then shuts off when unplugged) I'll buy another Pi and 3d print a dock to put by the side of my switch! How cool would that look?
you guys think there is any chance you could either work with someone or cobble something togeether to be able to use external memory with this? like dock and hdd setup?
Not sure, the PSTV did have some two player compatible games but I don't know the details PS1 support. There is a beta plugin called MiniVitaTV that allows you to do the same on a real VIta.
@@SilentNightx I've just tried with the Pi Zero W. Only loading the SD image and running it stock i got 1fps hahaha. I've also tried to tweak the "config.txt" file, and got 3fps... Any tips? Thanks for the great job!
@@SilentNightx I've downloaded at the link you've posted here. This one: www.reddit.com/r/vitahacks/comments/bhaclc/psvitaopz_beta_b_stream_psvita_to_tv_with_pi_zero/
