Dude, seriously, you are a legend. Just your Better Balanced Combat mod alone has increased the approachability and enjoyability of Morrowind exponentially. I have recommended this mod countless times, and it is executed really well. This is four years after this video was posted, so I don't know if your server is still up, but I'd like to try it. Anyway, thanks for your priceless contribution to this amazing game. With your mod, it's now the BEST game of the Elder Scrolls Series.
im trying to do a manual install and cant get it to show up in... i put the path in the config folder... but it wont show up in the Omw launcher... man this isnt the first mod im having this trouble with... and i cant figure it out. ive done modding a lot not just in different games but skyrim, and morrowind.... it gets me how vastly different from regular morrowind Omw modding is.... fucking frustrating.
So uhm i might be a bit late for the party seeing as this is a 5 year old video, still helpful and i hope it can atleast be used as a "base" to build on. I went through all the mods and really like it all, most seem to be up to date etc. I just have one question, whats the audio for the combat sound effects? The slashes and so on?
So yeah i dont know how you did it but NAT ENB/PRT XII and obsidian weathers are incompatible. Both ENBs change weathers and thusly cant be used with obsidian.
Note that you can still access the Nvidia control panel without any account. Its just hidden. I am upgrading my entire computer after 10 years and I am horrified how many software companies are blatantly spying on you.
I disagree with the combat system. You're playing with your stamina at zero, so you're suffering a major penalty to hitting. If you put your stamina back up, you'll have 50% chance of hitting at 50, and it's pretty easy to get any skill at that level when you're creating a character, if you're at 80% that means you're hitting most of the time. Basically, the game is unfriendly to you wanting to run and jump, I don't think they really understood the tendency for players to want to run fast and jump all the time they made doing so increase your skills. Hitting isn't too bad once you understand that it's tied to stamina, magic is tied to magicka, x your level. There definately can be some fixes in Morrowind, like making hand-to-hand not drain your stamina and knock you down. Any good hand to hand user is going to not be taking any damage, but then stun locking their enemy to death, it's wild and so does not work! I'd really love to see some stuff from daggerfall added like climbing, but maybe tie it to your athletics x weight.
I can't tell you how pissed off I was when I found out that the GPU my husband helped me buy for my recent upgrade was an NVidia. (I saved all of the money and bought it myself but he helped me do specs comparisons to get the most FPS for my buck) I've used AMD for years, I LOVE their configuration program, now I'm having to learn to use this NVidia one and omg it just sucks a$$. Never buying their hardware again. I'll use this GPU for as long as I need to for it to become time to replace again and then I am out. There's no reason for them to require a login and for their settings tools to be as wildly inferior as it's competitors. I swear they're just coasting on reputation now and that's the only reason people buy their sh1t.
There is also a combat delay for npc and creature you can remove with Tes construction set it will make the creature and npc's swing at you more have to edit in the game play settings in Tes Construction set.
I say Dark souls 2 is 10/10, yes the game unfinished but while being unfinished, its still a masterpiece and the second biggest souls game, keep in mind that if it wasn't for ds2, 70 percent of fromsoft soulsborne mechanics wasn't actually existed
"a hunter must hunt" I started playing games 36 years ago, Atari, Sega, Master system, mega drive, nintendo, super nes, play station etc etc My favourite game ever: Bloodborne 10/10
I ended up finding this video I'll try to figure out what Dynamic Performance Tuner and Load Accelerator was because I had it tracked in my Nexus mods and I ended up watching the full video and holy crap this is a very good video like I've looked for a mod videos like this for a while and I've never found a truly good one that covers most of the bases that I needed GOOD VIDEO❤
QEMU actually performs extremely well compared to any other VM I've tried. It can do regular virtualization too (without emulating other architectures), just like Virtualbox can, but it performs much, much better. 95% of native performance in my VMs without breaking a sweat. The only downside (and it's a fairly big one) is that you can't get GPU acceleration in windows guests. GPU acceleration works great in Linux guests (you can game under the VM easily), but Windows guests are stuck with software CPU rendering. Aside from this, as far as CPU performance is concerned, it's great. You can usually find user-friendly applications that wrap the unfriendly CLI interface in a much nicer GUI to make it more usable (Mac OS has UTM, Linux has Gnome Boxes and other such programs, and I'm sure Windows has some options as well.) I'd probably still suggest VMWare for anyone who is running Windows guests because the graphics acceleration is pretty important to have (you can get away with not having it, but it will hurt your performance), but for any other guest operating system, QEMU will absolutely blow Virtualbox out of the water.
Honestly there are a lot of outdated things about Morrowind. However if you simply use a guide it opens up a game that is incredible. I know you shouldn't have to use a guide, but it is what it is.
I don't agree with all of your verdicts, but this is a well done video and you did a good job explaining your points. I actually agree with most of the reasons you gave for liking or disliking these games, I just don't necessarily weigh them the same way. For example, I agree with you on Bloodborne because I feel like I haven't beaten the game unless I've beaten every boss. I would much prefer chalice dungeons if they just didn't have any unique bosses, and instead were just ways of facing bosses we already fight but in more challenging conditions like the defiled chalices. It would allow them to act as a hard mode for those who want more, while not gatekeeping unique bosses behind content that while interesting at first, gets really tedious. People can say what they will about Elden Ring having repeat bosses, but it's not like it forces players to fight all of them to experience the unique bosses like Bloodborne does. And the farming for blood vials was so annoying, I don't know what they were thinking. That said I feel that these issue only knocks Bloodborne down to 9 or 8, because the main game and DLC are just so good, and it still has the best combat to this day in my opinion.
I gotta agree on some points on bloodborne. The co-op is so bad. I had the exact same experience of only being able to connect once and never again. Though me personally i barely even notice the frame rate but some aspects really do need improvement. I hope we get a remaster or even bloodborne 2(im coping)
Keep grinding but as someone whos never played the game and is operating off public opinion definitely reevaluate that. Even if not idrc Dark Souls II was my favorite before elden ring and i got hella sht for it lmao
Bloodborne isn’t the best soulslike game out there. My main issue is I like variety when it comes to weapons and armor and bloodborne doesn’t offer too much of that. Also most bosses just aren’t fun and are easily forgettable in my opinion. I enjoy a challenge and most bosses are easy for me in this game
The variety of gameplay is definitely less than in other souls games but it's because you can use each weapon as two weapons basically. I agree with the armor though. And dang maybe I am bad if you thought the bosses in BB are easy haha.
@@SilentNightx most bosses I just brute forced my way through. I have a lot of experience with soulslike games and bloodborne was one of the last soulslike games I played. I’m sure if it was my first soulslike game, I would have struggled
I get if you like Bloodborne but please don't do that just because you disagree. It's possible that button affects the algorithm (not just your feed) and I really don't post a lot so it's not like I'm spamming you.
