I always get huge chills hearing the band march in the streets as they get closer & closer to the field. Imagine what it felt like being a soldier during the days they had drummers marching into battle from miles away....
Wow! I'm from Ohio and I absolutely love USC. I was born and raised a Mountaineer but USC runs through my veins! GO USC FTW! Most awesome drumline ever. I would love the chance to go to LA and just tour the campus. I have been a USC fan since I was in the 3rd grade and I just turned 41 a month ago. Love this band!
From the bass runs to tenor solos, to snares ripping up some 16th runs with visuals, to cymbals and theirs as well, I LOvED it! It was long, AND good! Not to mention pretty freaking clean! With 8 basses, WOW! I was living every single visual!!!!:) :D
It's interesting to compare this with 2005. Little differencies, still the same. They are awesome. I don't know what makes a good drumline but they are the best I find on RU-vid.
Will never forget when i saw this live the hairs on my neck were standing upright for atleast 5 mintes after it was over but then they moved infront of HH and well i couldn't handle it anymore FIGHT ON
Wow, those visuals were amazing! I'm surprised they could remember all of that, knowing me, I'd be the one person that always forgets to pass down the wave haha
@DJRexxy One person playing one part on their own is one thing. Being EXACTLY in time with 20+ others is a whole nother thing. On top of that, there's the "showy" piece, and the fact that it has to look natural and smooth, and has to be kept perfectly in time not only with each other, but have a consistent tempo throughout, with not a single stroke out of place. Let me know when you can do all that.
