I cannot wait for Quinton Joyner to get a full season of snaps. I feel like this dude always has a break out play whenever he touches the field. Dude seems to have tons of potential and i cant wait to see what he can do this season.

Peterson was the best back in the spring game. Last time I saw a usc rb carry defenders with him like that was Bradford.

Don't sleep on Peterson. His height weight combo and his vision are impressive. Not a pure burner but has sneaky speed to go along with his ability to break tackles. Keep an eye out I'm just saying.

Great stable of backs. Just not like it used to be: cj gable, to Stefan Johnson, to Joe McKnight, to etc. just not as relentless, but the mindset should still be the same as it was then. Use them all; go with hot hand, and keep pushing the hottest hand in that game.

Doesn't matter how good the backs are if the call on 2nd and 2 or third and 2 we pass every time like last year, or we are leading with 5mins left in the 4th quarter and we pass 3 straight and punt.

It's not an issue of talent. It's an issue of utilization. Lincoln Riley's choice to pretty much abandon the running game was perhaps the biggest factor in the disopoiting season. It would have kept opposing defenses on their toes and most importantly it would have kept our defense off the field.
