He doesn’t move like a RB that weighs 225lbs. I think he’s gonna be a good NFL RB the way he moves through traffic is special. He might be the best in this draft class.
He is loosey goosey from the hips down. Easily runs through "lazy tackling", IOW, you have to square him up, and hit the hips to get him down. The problem is, at 225 and 5 foot 10/11, when he lowers those pads, he's moving the defender backwards (short yardage back) Plus, he's got the build/stems, to be an excellent PP blocker on third down.
Dude is a terror. loose hips, fantastic burst, great balance to run through arm/leg tackles, and at 5 foot 11 and 210 pounds, can "load up" to deliver a message. What a steal... Frankly, the way he reads the holes, and then explodes through them, reminds me of A. Jones.
The way he runs, carries the ball etc is very reminiscent of Shady McCoy. Not as quick or shifty but he would give flashes of it. Great catching the ball out of the backfield too 💯
His change of direction at full speed is probably the best in this RB class. He makes good angles into bad angles so easily. And he'll do it 2-3 times per carry. He's always looking to put that next defender off balance.
The odd stutter step and foot 🦶 speed , plus the power with acceleration of his speed seems almost if the def didn’t think he had either …. Gives me Mashawn Lynch Vibes. Not even the name that gave me this thought mostly running style. Hopefully see some beast-Quake type runs from this kid.
Are the Chargers that desperate for wins or are Herby card collectors desperate for money? Every player that declared draft, has this exact comment on their highlight reel
@@dinero8069 I'm not saying that the Chargers are in desperate need by any means, but having Lloyd would be nice to help boost the run game, considering we have an OC who is known for leaning heavily into the run game. Lloyd would be an excellent pickup in the third or fourth round.
@@joshbundren I agree, lucky for you guys your defense is pretty stacked. Hopefully cop MHJ in the first and than a nice RB in the 3rd or 4th to help Gus with injury. Ideally an Isiah Pacheco type of sleeper as RB.
Fun fact: They were also rivals in high school in 2 of the biggest high schools in DC. Look up DeMatha vs Gonzaga 2018 (Best high school game ever). That game had like 6 or 7 future NfL players and like 20 college players but Williams and Lloyd were obviouslythe 2 best players on the field
Explosive quickness good feet runs low center of gravity and always making the right cut off any angel is big time as it gets. power cack, shifty back. big play back. 3rd pick. Superstar in the making.
I don’t think the Packers expected him to be on the board at 88 and when he was they had to take him. He was my top rb in this class and I thought he’d be gone by the 60th pick. He’s very similar to Josh Jacobs as a prospect but stronger and faster imo. Dude is a tank and he can burn people plus his legs are as fresh as they come.
Go Pack Go! 1 minute into this video, I’m excited , those are some highlights! Only unfortunate thing about him, he was born in Wilmington,DE. That’s were the crook in chief lives. Any who! He’s gonna be awesome to watch
Who cares where he's from as long as he's ready to go to work and help contribute to the team and looking at a few of these highlights he's gonna be a big asset
I’m not sure if I’m sold on this pick , he looks slow and I think NFL speed from defenders will get em. I like the kid but not in GB offense . I hope I’m wrong 😑
A bigger, faster, and younger Aaron Jones. Great pick for the packers. He's going to play this season too if the move AJ Dillon to full back which I heard they were going to do.
