Tackling the Evap. codes. Did the normal smoke test, checked out fine, then ran some circuit test, quick video running thru the uScope one channel lab scope.

I’m breaking down and getting one right now. My pico and diag cart are to big to lug around to every vehicle in the shop. After seeing you, scannerdanner, and Keith defazio just to make a few I’m ordering it now.

Dude this is the tool I've been looking for,,,I've always just tested for continuity,and that can be a pain because it's such a basic test,,,thanks so much for this demo,,I'm getting one a.s.a.p..the multi meter is gonna be more accurate but sometimes you are on a hunt and speed is the priority,,it's pretty bad ass that you can see the signal,,,

i bought a hantek 1008c and hate that junk,i cant even get seondary wave forms and it disconnects every minute it seems, im buying the uscope to replace it. mind you the hantek does serve a purpose and i will use it when i need multiple channels but hantek scopes are crappy

I want a uscope. Ive been looking into it for tax time. Im between getting the basic or master kit. Im still fairly new to scoping though. Glad to see an updated review of this.

Great video. Ive had the uScope since it cost $120 when nobody really wanted it. Quick tip- you can go into meters and pull up the min/max voltages right on the screen so you dont have to estimate where the voltage is at by the divisions..etc. You then can save that setup as a preset that starts up everytime you turn scope on. I have mine set up like that...I call it "MT2400".

Thanks Mario. That flood light is a knock off from home Depot it's a cheaper snap on licensing one. I got the UV flash light it's a really bright UV.

First time scope user here, do you recommend this scope for beginners? Trying to step up my electrical diagnostic game. Is there any really go to on how to compare a good waveform to a bad signal? Also setting the uscope up seems a little difficult to learn. Do you also recommend the master or basic kit?

For the price the uScope is a good beginner scope. It is a little rough to get a hang of but it's a pretty powerful tool. As far as good as bad graphs most sites like all data and Michelle will show what a wave form should look like for most sensors if your unfamiliar.

JRC54 thanks for the reply! I use identifix So I’ll have to look up on the procedures next time I’m searching. I found a video from aes and apparently the newest software comes with pre set functions for sensors and what not it also gives you a reference of the waveform as well

To add to what JRC54 said, I have had the uScope for years now and what I did was downloaded the FREE Pico automotive software. Once you installed it, you go into the automotive tab and it has all the setups for everything you'd want to test. If you check the little box for info before you open up a setup, it will redirect to the pico site and show you all the setup info and waveforms- good and bad if they have it. I saved almost all of them as pdfs. So I have them on my drive for quicker access to references.

Great video. New to your channel. Follow Keith's channel and I have the Uscope but am always interested in seeing other techs using it. Great little tool. Watch Justi Morgans videos to learn how to use it. Will definately be following your channel now. 👍 I realize its an older post but do you still have decals available?

I had one years ago used it all the time. Had to get another one but haven't been able to use it much yet. It's clean. Did a video on it called snap on tool deal
