Friends, you can use any bluetooth headphone or earpods as bluetooth wireless mic for recording audio wirelessly with your android phone. This is really useful when you are recording in crowed place and want to record the video from a distance with the help of a bluetooth microphone. If your bluetooth device comes with BT 5.0 then it would support noise cancellation and will deliver good quality audio in noisy area. In open area bluetooth headphone will cover 10-15 m distance for recording audio wirelessly. You can use the bluetooth headset with your built-in camera app, or with Open camera with the help of BTmono. Or you can use Cinema FV app, which has built-in Bluetooth audio support.

many thanks. you saved my day. combining (bt mono - select high volume) with Samsung M31S and Open Camera (with audio source : Optimised for voice recognition) works to get bluetooth mic sound from samsung galaxy buds pro and save it during video recording. perhaps this could help others.

I could see only one thing why there is that simple piece that makes this difficult for bluetooth headphone mics to work along the built in programs of the phone WITHOUT the help of another downloaded app. Google does not want you to use external devices where they can't easily snoop on you.

Record normally with call recorder software. Call recording has nothing to do with this trick. But you can try BT mono app.

The app didn't work on my Galaxy note 9, when I open the camera app it says it can't record during a phone call but I had no phone call, when I turned the app off the camera was okay but not recording from earbuds!

Bt mono won't work with SAMSUNG. Try to use Cinema FV app. But this app is not as good as stock camera app for high end phones. For low end Chinese mobile this app is better than stock camera app.
