I cant agree more Jedd, and I feel like I'm living proof of what you are saying. Using your training methods to focus on certain feats has gotten me to lift the inch, pinch 2x25kg plates, close a #3, lift the half 120 blob, the list goes on...
What would happen if someone used fat gripz extremes exclusively on all the normal Gym exercises ? Yes of course the numbers and the bigger muscles would suffer. But would his grip strength increase in this manner ?
I mess around with Fat Gripz occasionally, but nothing goal oriented. I'm in the middle of the 8 week blob program that came with Lift the Blob and making progress. I think your inch material/program may be my next goal.
There is a channel old school strength, he can pinch 2 45 plates, crush number 3 gripper, and lift the inch dumbell, and he says that all his force is for using fat grips for years......
@@gripstrength yes i saw it, another man improve his grip with fat grips, high intensity but yeah that is not the nourm..... But always there are people who broke the nourms like for example, a mechanic or people who have been working at manual labor works for years and have 220lb body weight can pinch maybe not 2 45 plates or close number 3 gripper, but they have insane grip and maybe can do 2 35 plates and a number 2 gripper which are very goods feats of strength ..... So it is what it is........ I have a question jeff wich is better for grappling pinch grip or fat bar?
@@gripstrength i am agree with you..... Answer my question please what do you think it's better for grappling or combat sports, pinch grip or fat bar? Or wich other
@@gripstrength Sorry Jedd , you did. Memory is crap. I got bi polar and schizophrenia. That's why I get alot out of your videos. Inspiration to keep training
Not trying to start a fight but I did do low weight fat grips for years with 0 progress. Wasn't unit I switched to high intensity I started seeing progress. I'm just one guy though.
Jason Voorhees I don't use fat grips anymore. I switched to an axel and thick bar rolling handles but even if I did I would focus on higher weights and less volume.
Yep, but it'd help tremendously if you owned an Inch Dumbbell. Rolling Thunder is virtually useless and any plate loaded dumbbells would need to be the right size. Finally programming would need to be on point. And it would take time. How much depends on where you're at right now.
Auto correct messes up my comments all the time ..maybe assumptions by the speech police adjusted his question..I sometimes have to rewrite it a few times before hitting return
