I hated trying to get good waterfronts in CS1 but it’s just so easy in CS2. For all the things it needs to work on, CS2 has also done a lot right.

The intersection at the end of the bridge would be an accident hotspot like crazy in real life. The stroad that crosses has SO MANY conflict points in the stretch of just a hundred meters or so - and then there's even a tram running through half of it. Even red light cameras and frequent police presence wouldn't lower the road fatalities at that monster to an acceptable level... holy metal box tornado, batman!

i find trying to build the road/quays is insanely difficult for me

A full port DLC or mod would be nice. Deep sea fishing port, coastal fishing port, marina, boat ramp, and even a dry dock would be nice assets. Throw in a light house for good measure.

I really didn't get "easy" from this video. It seemed like you had an annoying amount of steps to make something as simple as a retaining wall for a small park.

Nice work. I'm so glad that fields can now be any shape. That really makes the rural areas look natural. I still have not bought CS2 yet. Not sure I even have enough HD space right now? Might need to upgrade the PC a bit.

Looks amazing, as always! I like the marina jetties. You can also use the footpaths to make excellent breakwaters, basically like very thin quay walls but with the fill on both sides (raised rather than bridged?) The car parking under those bridge supports is bang on too! But did you know that you can access rocks to plop? and you can simply surface paint the stone mining surface (looks great near railways for those rough ground areas)

How come the simulation in this game is broken in most areas? Works as a city painter for content creators though....

omg, i had so much trouble making quays yesterday i neglected my whole city for hours. you made it looks SO easy :o

Your city is absolutely beautiful but some of those junctions would be an absolute nightmare to navigate as a driver, there's no way to know who has priority, where you're supposed to go, etc. There are many junctions in this video that really should be either roundabouts or completely separated. The number of accidents would be through the roof, especially with pedestrian crossings on sliproads as well. Having said that I have huge respect for this project, it's really quite stunning.

I'm really sorry because I love and respect your work and you give me a lot of inspiration. sorry for that, but I'll be back when the game comes out on console and I'm interested. it's not just my heart that's going to hurt because they fucked those who only have a console. I'm not interested in any of the videos until then.

Incredible, my cities design is at the same level I was in Sim Cities 2000 hahahah flat and full of rectangles, it’s like drawing stickman as a portrait I’ll try to use some of your cool designs

Detailing is surely missing from this game. I'm missing a lot the quay walls, and some mods like Line Tool, some props such as fences, and most surely: Move It!. I do hope those come soon.
