Go to instruments in flstudio. Then keyboards(if im not mistaken) then choose Close Grand(built in Lo-fi piano). Put it on a mixer track, then use EQ 2 and choose Radio preset(tweek it to liking). Then use maximus and choose lo-fi preset(again tweek). And last but not least go to patcher and choose the Humanizer preset and just mess with the rate(or mess with the settings). There you go. Vintage sound on a budget. And you can try this on anything..Especially chords and melodies.
what does half speed exactly do to the key of an sample ? bc most of the times when i add my 808 then after it sound shitty :( is it just the same key an octave down or what? then u woulndt need like pitchproof or? or does it pitch it down a half octave ? (sorry im not that good with musical words description).
half-speed pitches everything one octave down. this can cause a lot if buildup between 100hz and 500hz. if you clean it up a little with an eq your 808s will actually have space
RC-20 is good but honestly I wouldn’t say it’s worth paying for. 100 bucks for something you could recreate for free using stock plugins. If it was 20 bucks I’d maybe say it’s good to pay for.
