I do not recommend putting salt or coconut oil on your hair. If you want to do this use lighter oils, not raw oil and salt will just cut up your scalp just use sugar.
I literally was thinking that too before i seen this video! I made a sugar scrub past year with olive oil. Not sure if the olive oil would be counter productive in relieving someone of dandruff but it’s being rinsed out. So, maybe?
Hi! This is not something I recommend using on a regular basis. Just as you should not exfoliate your body/face everyday; it is similar for your scalp. Use this scrub to clarify the scalp and to remove build up and other debris every once and a while. I highly recommend following up with a deep conditioner. The full video explains more. I hope this helps.
i do not recommend applying salt on your hair as it does no good but rather ruins your hair and applying coconut oil on your scalp can promote build-ups and thus affect your hair growth if you want to use oil for the scalp try using rosemary, castor, almond, avocado or olive oil, well I do recommend using honey
@@theanimehub6166It is fine to apply coconut oil to your scalp if you double shampoo your hair but coconut oil doesnot help with hair growth or cleansing your scalp , also you should only use coconut oil for high porosity hair otherwise it'll make your hair greasy, if you want to use a carrier oil, light weight oil is always the best for all hair type .
I make just enough for one application. If you wanted to store it, you probably could put it in the fridge l. Without the honey, this should last for sometime without spoiling. Keeping water-based ingredients out of the formula will help it last longer without a preservative. 😊💜
@@Ethnicbeauty high levels of salt is toxic to the follicle, and can damage it. It pulls moisture from the hair, leaving it dry. I suppose if you suffer from a sebaceous scalp, it won't be a bad idea, but sugar scrub is better. My homemade sugar scrub leaves my hair freaking amazing. It nourishes my hair, leaves it shiny, it doesn't look dry, and i can go at least 4 days without washing my hair before it produces oil. Anyway, try a sugar scrub. :)
