I am in my late 50's I honestly believe that the reason that I still have a head full of hair is due to aryvedic oils. A few years ago my cousin cut 7 inches of hair. She was only supposed to dust my ends. I was heated I used aryvedic oil daily for 9 months my hair flourished and I got those 7 inches back.
I'm 60 and my full of hair comes from variety if natural products that I've used from my mid 40's. Been natural most of my life. I now see how hair has different reactions to one's age. I like my grey's and to keep them bright and non yellowing I stay away from henna and use other powders but they don't 'sit' on my hair about 15-20 min. I use Fanola purple shampoo 2× month again don't let that 'sit' on my hair long either. As I've gotten older my scalp seems to have gotten sensitive
Your cousin did you dirty , she was probably envious of your hair, my sister used to cut all my hair off too whej it was meant to be a trim, so years later when her hair actually started growing I did it to her and she was bitching about it to everyone, but when I would complain about her doing it to me she would say, it needed it

My grandmother brings bottles of Haitian castor oil every time she visits..we never run out and we use it for just about everything and every ailment. Hair, skin, nails, muscle aches…you name it.

I so appreciate you NOT advising folks to fry their DIY oils! Patience is such a virtue. I let my mixture slow drip in a strainer lined with a coffee filter…takes days but the end result is worth the wait! Thank you so much for sharing!
I had scalp issues. But my doctor advise to take Omega -3 supplements or fish oils everyday or eat Salmon, Mackerel 2-3 per week. My scalp itch and flaking has ended. My is growing healthier. Eating healthy is key to healthy hair growth. I agree!!
I use jojoba, almond, grapeseed, avocado, hemp and castor oils. I add a few drops of rosemary oil, tea tree and scented essential oils. I also add sublimed sulphur, amla powder and chebe powder. I can't stand the smell of lavender. It may seem like a lot, but it works for me.
Make sure you consume (some of) these things e.g. Almonds/oil etc, as well as applying topically. Theyre good for your body as a whole. Make sure to massage your scalp with them as well. 😊😊

The main oils I use on my scalp are JBCO, sweet almond and olive oil. Coconut oil works great on my hair. Lately, I have been using Dabur Amla oil on my hair and scalp.

0:38 : my growth looks like that and I haven’t even used the oil. I’ve adjusted my routine by using Luke warm water, tea tree oil, and freshly squeezed aloe Vera juice mixed together. Scalp health is key! I remember even though my hair does grow fast and I retained length, I wasn’t happy with the health of my hair. Did you know I used to use water and conditioner to MOISTURIZE my scalp AND the shaft of my hair?! That’s why when I took my protective styles down, my scalp and spots of my hair would be gunked up with leftover conditioner. Caused a ton of unnecessary breakage. But the last take down, I experienced very little shedding. It’s so interesting how when you know the problem of your body, you can just fix it like that! Can’t wait to use this oil after it infuses 😝😝❤️, then I can add a bit of it into the SS8 grease!!!! I’ve been using Vaseline on my scalp and ends after moisturizing; another great way to seal moisture in. UPDATE: I made the oil and SS8 grease this morning, can’t wait to use both on Sunday!!
Rosemary is great for hair as well. Throw some in there and I’m sure you’ll boost results. I’ve been using fenugreek and rosemary for a while now and I love it !!
Yes I use oils, olive, peppermint, rosemary, tea tree, coconut oil, lavender, lemongrass, cedarwood mixtures. Twice a week. Just a little goes a long way. Not a lot .
I use avocado oils olive grape seed jojoba vitamin e argan oil and a bunch of other ones due to postpartum hair loss I had because of that I had become obsessed with growing my hair back and eventually got amazing results...I will try this one too it looks amazing
I love that you know and put the temperature. Some people don’t know that over heating can degrade nutrients and it requires a lot of research to find the right temperature. It can get annoying
I absolutely love Ayurvedic herbs, my favourites are amla, brahmi and fenugreek 🌿😍 I use them in my DIYs hair and skin products all the time, game changer 🔥🔥
😊I love to use olive oil all through my hair and my sons hair. I spray water in my hair then I add olive oils and twist it up for few days. I repeat that process until I wash my hair ( I wash my hair every two weeks) I’ve been natural for almost 7 year my hair is 4 inches pass bro strap length. I love to use oils😊
My answers to the questions I do use oils in my hair ( I made them my self ) the ingredients I used were : Shae butter vitamin E oil extra vergin Cocnut oil Extra virgin olive oil Jojoba oil sometimes if I don't oil me scalp, it gets itchy and there would be dandruff everywhere so I apply it every 3 - 4 days

I use Jamaican castor oil and sweet almond oil on my scalp. I don't really have scalp problems but noticed a bald spot during the covid lockdown...I believe its sorted now though (thank God).
Ive followed your recipe and I love this oil! I love how you don’t include any heavy oils like coconut or olive oil so it’s nice and light to use daily
@@Themystergamerr the molecules of olive oil are varied and not consistent. therefore some of the molecules are huge and do not enter the hair shaft and just sit ontop, so to me that’s heavy.
I used to use oils a lot because I had constantly itchy scalp but I havent experienced that since switching to sulfate free shampoo. Now I don't use oils on my hair scalp usually besides wash day BUT I know that my low porosity hair LOVES sweet almond oil and olive oil. And it keeps my hair and scalp healthy and soft.
1. I use Jamaican castor/avocado oil mixed on my scalp directly Sometimes mix with orange and peppermint essential oil. 2. My hair and scalp are dry. There were some years where dandruff spots were affecting my hair, i thought, due to hormones (I have PCOS). Sulphur8 didn't help. Glover's Mane ointment twice a day for a week resolved my issue immediately. I do still have dry hair/scall. I have high porosity hair
Yes I use her oils I use wild growth oil and it helps a lot with my hair it’s just that it takes a little while it takes time Yes I put a lot to foil on my scalp I probably put some on my scalp every day I would say or I would skip some days The oils that I put on my scalp is a wild growth oil and I do not have scalp issues
I love oiling my scalp. I do it every other day of the week, and I use a variety of oils that I make myself, however, right now I'm using castor oil with a few drops of peppermint in it. If I don't oil my scalp it gets itchy and is coated with dandruff.

First of all stellar editing and video quality! I have a very dry flakey scalp and nothing seems to alleviate it except for your sulfur grease recipe that I use when I get my hair braided. I haven’t found an oil that has the same effect.
Yes i use Jamaica Blk Castor Oil and other oil fusion on my scalp & strains and it has kept mine & my daughter's hair soft & help stop breakage. More so it has effectively stopped my ichy scalp issues for over 9mos now. Thanks for this video

I use it throughout my scalp once a week after washing/ or hair mist. Oil the rest of the time. I’m experimenting with the hair mist/ tea concept. I made a aloe vera rose water, and hibiscus mist. I use it everyday I use my oil or grease. Crazy how this video is giving me validation that I’m on to something. Blessing to you Queen.
I do use oils on my scalp. Usually after I apply my rosemary, mint, clove water, I apply my rosemary, mint, clove oil or aloe oil to my scalp and work it down the length of my hair getting my ends pretty saturated. Sometimes I put on a cap. I do have psoriasis mainly around my cochlear implant oddly on the left side of my scalp.
I use fenugreek oil and castor oil with rosemary essential oils. I have dry scalp. Also I purchased and love the Camille Rose Cocoa Nibs oil. I do apply these oils to my hair and scalp.
I definitely need this hair oil to incorporate it with my shampoo day right now I am using the red pimento oil mixed with peppermint oil also black Jamaican castor oil.
Thank you... good information. You gotta pack your patience to put this remedy together and continue throughout months and years. It would be wonderful sis if you thought about selling it. One would have to take a week off from other duties to prepare this. I'm sure the remedy is awesome!

I don't put oil on my scalp. My scalp gets irritated and insanely itchy. When I was first starting out, I put some castor oil and coconut oil on my edges and scalp and had to wash my hair again, I was scratching my hair until it was red. But I love using oil in my deep conditioner mix. I just have to make sure it doesn't touch my scalp. Also, oddly, grease is fine, but I don't like greasing my scalp anyway. I just use it on my strands. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I personally having been using coconut and extra virgin olive oil on my hair and my daughters hair for many many years. In the past 3 years I have just started using black seed oil and Jamaican black castor oil. They work amazing!!
Yes I use hair oils, I use a variety of different oils. I have just reached a two year loc journey so definitely always trying to make sure my scalp and locs are always moisturized

Yes mine was the same way.. I made a pepper mint oil, eucalyptus oil and tea tree oil mix to add to my conditioner and that helped Alot.. Along with a good moisturizing shampoo.. Hope this also helps
Also look into vitamin deficiency or poor circulation! It could also be the precursor to something called central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA). For me it was fungal and a lot of people have unchecked fungal issues (mild-moderate-severe) but please cover ALL bases and definitely visit your doctor and/or dermatologist.

I use my carrier oil avocado oil. I usually mix it with herbs, such as horsetail, hibiscus, lavender and amla and then I heat it up with hot water to release their nutrients. I use this oil not only for hot oil treatments, but also after putting, in the right order, water, fresh aloe vera juice and my leave-in conditioner, on my hair. But now that it's winter here in Holland, I mix my oil with shea butter. Q: Do you put oils on your scalp? A:Not anymore. Q: If you don't put oils on your scalp, why not? A:I suffer from dandruff and recently, I found out applying oil only worsens it. Now that I stopped doing so and pay attention to hair products with harmful ingredients, my scalp is less flaky and itchy. Q:Do you have scalp issues? If so, which ones? You should try clay washes and acv rinses for your itchy scalp. Also neem leaves, lemon balm, chamomile, rose petals, peppermint and lemongrass are amazing to soothe the itch
Try an ACV bath for your braiding hair (before installation). 1 cup of ACV to about 4-8 cups of water (enough to submerge the hair). This helps remove the alkaline solution that coats the hair. You can condition the hair after this to soften.

Not those silly plastic looking ones, which I NEVER bought. I recently used Sulphur8 grease to calm my scalp down. It was sore to the touch. I had braids in for 6 weeks and I did minimal moisturizing. There have been times where I would use oils on my scalp, and exp. itchiness?? Great video! Bought your ebooks too! I use Argan oil on my hair only, not scalp. I have low porosity hair and learned heavy oils are detrimental to my hair. I thought I couldn’t use any oils until I found Argan oil. I also use jojoba oil and sweet almond oil. I don’t have any scalp issues but used to years ago. I use Henna for color.
