My memory must be getting better, because I watched this same video a long time ago; I am sure this is not a new interview. I do remember Jim's stories more, example: his conversations with Bill Clinton and Bill Gates. Or maybe it's because Jim has repeated these stories many times for the new viewers, how could we forget them. Jim tells a good story. Stories work better than acronyms for me. Maybe I can turn MOM and BE SUAVE into a story. Writing this comment is a form of active learning, I won't forget this anytime soon.

S - SAY THE NAME (When you meet people say their name, just by hearing the name will help you remember their name.) U - USE IT (Use it *the name of the person you mee* not abuse it. A - Ask ( Meeting someone new and being genuinely interested about them is what they're trying to say here you can ask them question like, How do you spell your name? Who's are you named after? What does your name means? Peoples name is the sweetest sound to a persons ears. Names can be a bond. V & E- VISUALIZE - (We tend to remember more of what we see than what we hear. There is this Chinese proverbs that says " What I hear I forget, What I see I remember, What I do I understand".) Trick: When you meet somebody, you take their name and then turn it into a picture, for a split second go and imagine pictures that will connect to that name) Understand why you wanna remember something. *People love when you let them share their thoughts. seek first to understand than to be understood. have a great day :)
