I use Detail Line HEAVILY during our concept and basis of design phase. During that phase, everything is extremely fluid and drawing lines is 100x faster than modeling actual pipe and equipment. The best part of this is I can later get my engineers to go right into Revit and model the stuff right under the detail lines. Also, Fillet Arc is a great compromise for not being able to chamfer. Lucky you, your line weights actually make sense. For some silly reason, our template has line weights that do not go in ascending order. Line 1 is thinnest, 2 is thicker and 3 becomes the same thickness as line 1! Templates are constant work... Keep up the great work! Loving your style.
Thanks TED! I just love the possibilities with REVIT. So many great options to model and create drawings. I love thinking of ways to make our lives easier. I still need to learn electrical so looking forward to your future vids! Love your stuff too! Keep up the great work!
@@theelectricaldepartment was trying to get my email to work. It's THEGUY@MEPGUY.COM Definitely shoot me an email. I got some ideas for ya. Hopefully the email works. Just set it up.
ok, so my mepguy email isn't working which is why I haven't got back to you if you did email me. So frustrating!! I did set up a twitter account @MEPguy so if you want you can direct message me there. Sorry just didn't want to put my personal email on youtube. But I'd still love to chat.
