I really think this is great! I thought of another idea, print out an outline of different letters or words and fill in the shape of the letter with the multiple types of stickers of that same letter. Like print a N and put all different "n" stickers inside. I am going to do this today and also with my grandson who is very artsy.

The way these look remind me of old school ransom notes that you would see in movies! So much fun! I see some birthday cards, the new cover of my granddaughters handwriting practice notebook (she's 4), fun labels for boxes of art supplies, artists trading cards (ATC) and who knows... maybe even a ransom note or two! Like hiding the remote for the TV or video game controller and the ransom note could demand a family game night or picnic. If you laminate it, you could keep it and use it on a regular basis to encourage family time. Oh no, the ideas keep coming! Make it stop! Thanks so much for this great fuel for new ideas! Oh Natasha, thank you so much for this fabulous idea. I have tons of alphabet stickers from my early scrapbooking days, many years ago. I've never been able to bring myself to toss them out, and now, I'm so glad I didn't. Your mind works in wondrous ways.

Another video full of inspiration, and perfect for me! I have a ton of alphabet/number stickers, rub-ons, die-cuts, stencils, stamps, washi tape - you name it! For those who don't, letters cut from magazines could be used as well, with the advantage of all being equally flat. It's difficult to get things perfectly lined up, so mixing them up is a liberating idea. Love the idea of using up the leftover bits from stickers - these could work with your faux handmade paper as well. Ideas sparked by this video: How about using the letters to make quirky faces? O's for eyes, an L or upside down 7 for a nose, a bracket for a mouth and many more ways to do it. Or draw/trace a profile head, and fill the brain space with random letters and numbers, or words. Frame a picture with its initial letter, e.g. an apple framed with different A's. Add a letter/number to a collage or cluster. This is so fU*n*❗ PS For those who (like me) don't have a laminator, try clear book covering film. It's not as sturdy, so maybe not for a writing board, but it does the job of keeping all those little bits on the backing. You can also cover the backing paper, then cut out irregular shapes, and it won't peel off - I still have some I made like that, which are good as new after years and years.

Well I’ve been sorting through all my craft supplies and recently downsized my alphabet box to make a donation to the thrift store. I always end up with lots of random letters too! I love your first project. It’s grungy and looks like metal by the way you have combined the colours! One way in which I use letter stickers is to use them as a mask or stencil if the negative space is available. It works great with sprays and if using the white thickers they can be repurposed afterwards on to other projects. Thanks for sharing your ideas!⭐️

I tried this today. I had foam numbers and letters in yellow. I stuck them down on thick craft card and spray painted them in matte sage colour and cut out Easter eggs and distressed with white paint. They look great and the options, are endless. Thanks for the inspo. ❤️

My 2 favorite ideas from the video are mixing styles of letters and using letters as fillers of shapes or silhouettes (for example - filler for frame shape) or extensions of basic shapes/silhouettes. Favorite sentiment is ‘Why Not’ :). For your daughter you can create a décor piece with her name in the middle and glue t to a face of a cardboard or wooden trinket storage box (that you can make yourself to needed size and I do recommend reinforcing it with glued inside wooden pieces for sturdiness). Later another box like this can be added (say, for art supplies, with the word ‘art’ in the middle), and another, and another. I will definitely use this idea for my own display/storage shelving unit. Thanks a lot and if you collect more ideas for leftover letters, please issue a sequel mentioning ideas for particular letters - ideas for using a lot of letter Ms for example and so on…

Hi Natasa! My favorite is the ART, black and gold. Second favorite is the red heart with different side. This is great! I hardly ever use alpha stickers and numbers except when I mail a pkg. to a child and try to "jazz" itnup. Make it fun to open. I have been giving my left overs to the kids at church. You gave me so many ideas I absolutely love the writing boards! I can get rid of so many stickers that way and so creatively! I love the idea of gifting them to people. The first one as a Christmas gift. That would be amazing to the girls I teach at church each one would be uniquely theirs. You are so incredibly creative! Thanks for thinking of all these uses for those forlorn letters, numbers and shapes we have! I love the last idea of collaging a page and then cutting out shapes. You could also cut out tags, corner tucks, side tucks or use bits in clusters. Also, the cascading or waterfall idea in your art journal is fabulous. That idea be used for so many journal themes. I would love to see a flip through of that art journal sonetime! 😍

These were great ideas! I usually give my extra stickers to kids I know or to someone who makes greeting cards. You've given me lots to think about and play with! Remember when our kids would take the alphabet pasta and we'd help them spray the pasta gold or silver and then they would arrange their words around a paper plate, run a ribbon through the top and it took pride of place on our refrigerators? 🥰

You could use all N’s on the cover of a personal journal or make a cluster with the focal point your initial. I’ve also used a single decorated letter as an illuminated letter for the start of a poem or piece of writing I’ve included in a journal. There are really a lot of things you can do with leftover letters. Thanks for the video - sparks my imagination!!
