Use your Avenger presets like a PRO! 

3:00 Absolutely superb tip for muting & soloing layers in expansions. Have been using Avenger for years and never discovered this really important feature.

I bought Melancholia based on the demo video and i was quite impressed with it. After seeing this video though I'm using it in new ways and I'm VERY impressed with it. I mean I was always fairly experimental with presets, I don't like using them as they are and often switch out the samples/oscillator sounds for something else to see if I can make it my own, and this just adds to the usefulness of many of the preset packs.

I've always found everything so cluttered in Avenger, that it was impossible to navigate. Seeing you break it down in such a simple way has given me the incentive to try again. Much appreciated for uploading this!

Thanks for making this video. I hope those that question the usefulness of ARP and SQ learned the presets can provide great inspiration and with a quick click of the mouse turn the presets into beautiful, unique melodies of their own. Avenger is incredibly powerful. ARP and SQ are like an artist who looks at other paintings for inspiration before creating artwork of their own. They may use the same brand of brushes and paints, but the art created with those tools will have their own artist signature. Also, absolutely love Meloncholia! :)

Most of presets if i disable reverb, they still have lot of reverb, anyone knows how to fix it?

Thanks, Alan 😉 Der VPS Avenger geht schon ordentlich in die Tiefe (Respekt an die Entwickler!). Da kommen nur die wirklichen "Schauber" entsprechend weit voran. Im Tutorial hast du auf ein paar interessante und nützliche "Kleinigkeiten" hingewiesen, die den Umgang mit diesem "Supersynth" schon mal leichter machen, ohne dass man jetzt allzu weit in die Tiefen des Systems vordringen muss.

Ich weiß nicht wie ich sie manuell spielen kann, also mit meinen eigenen Ideen. Wenn so etwas tatsächlich ginge, wo sind die gut versteckten "Schalter" um das zu schaffen. Oft passen die ablaufenden Noten überhaupt nicht zu den eigenen Songs. Gibt es irgendwo im Netz Hilfs-Videos? Ich wäre dir für jeden Tipp sehr dankbar!!!

Whyyy EVERRRRY preset in Avenger is smeared with Reverb and Delay 🙄🙄?? I had to un-install it when I realized that almost ALL the presets suffer from OVER REUSING the same 2 effects 😒😮‍💨😮‍💨

It is probably not the best on the planet but it is within the top 10 of the last years, however the customer service is mediocre, and the unfulfilled promises of future updates such as version 2 that has been promoted for 3 years make this product very unreliable for serious users. Plus every 90 days you have to re-license it online otherwise you can't continue to use it and besides the suspicious "terms of use" that opens a sea of doubts about what sounds you can or can't use commercially in your songs. Want more? Move on to really serious stuff like Omnisphere or Falcon, don't get ripped off or fooled by well-produced demos... Manuel is still on his version 2 promises that never ever happened...just sayin'....
