Ive got a CR8D receiver thats previously binded. I've got the wires setup from the FTDI correctly but not sure what pins are what on the receiver. Its not binding to remote.
This was a big help, thanks! Can you offer any advice on how to set up a 3 position switch in vjoy serial feeder? I'm trying to set up my mode switch for use in realflight but the switch acts as though it only has one two positions.
You should be able to add a button on the same channel and set them to different inputs, and set them to two thresholds. Set one to be say "1400 - 1600" and the other "1800 - 2000" That will leave a bit of room to any deviation but the signal seems pretty spot on at 1500 and 2000.
Hi mate I can't get this work using using an Axion 2 RX and a FTDI. Axion 2 is IBUS or SBUS? I get it all connected i just have no comms from the transmitter. RX is bind

thanks for the amazing video, i am trying to do the same, i am using an FTDI usb board and a jumper R8 receiver, i connected the receiver to the FTDI board and i installed the Vjoy driver and serial feeder but the serial feeder is not communicating with the receiver, it is always showing Serial port read timeout, i am sure that the receiver is bound to the transmitter, i have also connected one servo to the receiver to double check the communication between the transmitter and receiver and it is working fine. the receiver is connected to the FTDI board using the SBUS wire, can you please help with this problem.
I don't use Sbus equipment myself so I wasn't able to cover it unfortunately. It's an inverted UART signal. So you need to connect to the uninverted signal, or re-invert the signal. Using the Arduino is the simplest method because you can use a sketch to do the work for you. Hello thanks for the video, i'm having a problem do you have any ideas? When i turn on my flysky the FTDI starts flashing two green leds and gets disconected from windows, it gets connected again as soon as i turn off the flysky. (Using FS-IA6B and FTDI) Edit: It just works on my notebook, now i'm even more puzzled.... i really wanted it to work on my main pc. Edit 2: It was a bad cable, got another one and it worked on both computers.
I've got two solid greens but no motion on the VJOY. Also betaflight connects then disconnects. i'm going to try my main pc and see. Also my radio receiver doesn't show a red light that its binded. It does on my plane.
i. did the cli command on omnibusf4 and now i dont see any comport in betaflight or device manager. i see in other devices - Omnibusf4 as no drivers for it.
@@TheWayneStevenson hi i did figured it out, actually for me the flight controller setup didnt work but it did worked with an FTDI connector, plus i had to adjust the controls 1 by 1 in the vjoy serial feeder as the controls were goin crazy.. but in RDS sim the buttons dont work i think the feature is not activated thru the developer of RDS.. all in all it worked.. thanks alot for this amazing tutorial otherwise we would have stuck with generic SIM modules...
i have a f4 flight controller and im trying to use it as gamepad. Everything works but when i go into the sim the sticks just start freaking out. Any ideas?
@@TheWayneStevenson drl sim. I gave up and went to go fly but forgot to turn off usb hid....it fried my fc. I have an aio and my cpu went up in smoke. 3v pads measured 0.2 ohms resistance.
