This journal is a real treasure. Each page pure delight. Thank you so much Nina for sharing your creative talents. And this journal sure showcases these.
What a great eye you have for colour and texture, Nina. This junk journal show that very well. I love it and the way you have pulled it all together is amazing. A pleasure to watch you going from page to page to show us how it all has come out. Many thanks!
I’ve had so much fun in this journal this year Edna and the support and feedback from everyone during this series has been amazing. Its a lovely reminder for me of all the projects we have done together throughout the year 💕❄️☃️🎄🎅🏻
Thanks so much Jeanne, I’ve had a blast working on this and its lovely seeing it finished. Its such a lovely reminder of the projects we’ve done together throughout the year. Thanks for following along 💕💕💕❄️🎄🎅🏻
It's just another AMAZING SUNDAY, such a fun day its our Nina Ribena craft day. What a wonderfully inspiring end to a beautiful junk journal. Every page is a memory as we flip through. You have brought so much joy into our days. Inspiring warm and encouraging you truly make Sunday the BEST DAY OF THE WEEK. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent. 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤ yes please more next year❤
Awww, thanks so much for your lovely comment Wendy. I’ve had an absolute blast with this series throughout the year, and as you say its a wonderful reminder of all the projects we’ve done together 💕💕💕❄️🎄☃️🎅🏻
This was great! I love that you pulled the cute little bird out of a blob of paint and also love that the entire book is cheerful, bright, and happy! Great!!💕
Too, too clever! So whimsical and fun and a great winter card to send to friends when we all tire of the snow. You have so many great painty papers on hand. Watching both sides of your page develop has given me a lot of ideas for future projects as well as supplies. Thank you so much.
Hi Nina, I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your channel, you lift my spirits, my husband is terminally ill, and life is hard at the moment. So thank you for bringing me some sunshine. I actually don't get time to do anything but I hope to one day.
Hello Trish, I’m so sorry to hear of your husbands illness. I can’t imagine how hard life must be at the moment. I’m glad I have been able fo bring some sunshine and a few minutes relief from your situation. Wishing you all the very best ❤️🙏🙏🙏 x
Fabulous, Miss Nina! I enjoy how you talk us through every step. Yes, very enjoyable! Such a grand book~ Beautiful and whimsical! Loved the flip through! TY
Thank you so much Nina. I really really love 💕 this journal 📔 as you say full of fun, and stunning and gorgeous colours. I really really love 💕 your snowman ⛄️ he’s delightful and the wrapping paper you made from newspaper 📰 just stunning too. I really really did see the birds on that last little page, and this also turned out really really awesome too.....We’ve been treated to three different elements today. Marvellous!!!!!! I really really love 💕 and enjoyed watching you create. Hope you keep the illnesses at bay Nina, nothing worse when your coming up to the busiest season of the year. xxx as always Mags
Aww, thanks so much as always for your kind and supportive words Magz. I’ve loved working in this journal all year and ifs lovely looking through it now that its complete. A wonderful reminder of all the projects we’ve done together throughout the year 💕💕💕❄️🎄☃️🎅🏻
Have loved following this journal throughout the year, can't believe it has been that long! So much creativity from such scrappy materials, such imagination. What a lovely cheerful thing to take out every now and then and flip through, it will cheer you up and inspire you (and us) in times to come 🥰 thanks for all the pleasure you've made this year
Thanks so much Lesley. This year has flown by more than ever and Its lovely seeing this eclectic journal now complete. Thanks for following along with me 💕❄️🎄☃️🎅🏻
There is so much to love in this video! All the pages are beautiful. What surprised me the most were the birds you saw and used on the little pages. I didn't see the bird and when you started to draw it, I was astonished. I immediately saw the bird! It was like magic. Thanks so much. This was a great series.
Its funny how we all see different things in the pages. Every time I looked at that page, the birds popped out and I couldn’t bring myself to cover them up. Thanks so much for all the lovely comments you leave each week, they really do mean a lot 💕❄️🎄🎅🏻☃️
I just loved your snowman page, the birds where lovely too and of course your baubles,,,. Your junk journal was gorgeous you have done a wonderful job of it ,. Thank you for all your inspiration over this year,,,,xxxxx ❄️🎄❄️🌲❄️☃️⛄️
Thanks so much Tori. I’ve really enjoyed working in this journal and love how simplistic and eclectic it is. Thanks for all your lovely comments this year, they mean a lot 💕💕💕❄️🎄🎅🏻☃️
You have done a marvelous job, creating projects to inspire us with each prompt. I have loads of alcohol ink scraps to use, so I can once again, jump in with a prompt. I have been asked by our older daughter, to make a baby interactive quilt! No small request for this new grandmama, but I will have a great time. Surely miss mY Gammill quilting machine, so it’s time to learn to finish the piece, quilting with a sewing machine. Being an award quilter, I don’t enjoy piecing because it is so repetitive , and with this one being interactive, please wish me luck.
I’m sure you will thoroughly enjoy making the quilt for new baby. I still have the quilts and interactive baby blankets that my mother in law made for my boys when they were babies. I could never part with them. Wishing you luck with your new machine and happy creating. Exciting times ahead for you 💕💕💕
Love your snowman and bauble pages. I have absolutely loved watching you create this Use Your Scraps Journal. What I like most is the kind of carefree creation-it doesn't have to perfect, go with the flow theme-sort of how the birds in the painty paper appeared. (Good to see you just go for it and draw them-there would have been a time when you held back so your confidence in drawing has really developed). I really enjoy your videos and am looking forward to the journey of 2020, wherever that takes us. Thanks for a brilliant 2019! 💗
Thanks so much Steph. You’ve summed this up perfectly as for me its been a place to be simplistic, colourful and to experiment without even thinking about any kind of perfection. I’ve loved using bits and bobs from other projects I’ve been working on throughout the year and so its become an eclectic reminder of my journey throughout 2019. My drawing skills really are quite terrible, but I’ve learned that it just doesn’t matter as the fun is in the trying, and I’m getting ‘a bit’ braver about sharing on camera, which I find quite intimidating. Thanks so much for following along with me and for all your kind and encouraging comments throughout the year. Have a wonderful week❤️🥰❄️🎄🎅🏻
Thanks Laura. I’ve had so much fun with this journal throughout the year and I really do appreciate all the lovely comments and support you’ve given me 💕❄️🎄🎅🏻☃️
Wow it is beautiful. I like the way that you can see each season in the journal and how you have been inspired by what is happening throughout the year.
I love your scraps journal Nina. It's so cheerful & so fun. I'd really enjoy seeing you do something similar in 2020. I'm looking forward to seeing how you will keep the scrap theme fresh. Not that I think you need to make a change. The great thing about scraps is they help randomize what you'll do with them. Either way , keep it the same or put a new spin on it, I'm sure it will be fun and engaging. I hope you don't catch what your boys have & I hope they feel better very soon. Have a great week & take time to take care of yourself.
Thanks so much Ash. I love being random and able to create ‘where the mood takes me’ and so this series has been perfect for me. I’ve loved how simplistic its been and not having to worry about any kind of perfection. I’ve just been free to experiment and I’ve loved it. I’ve currently got my thinking cap on as I’d like to do something similar, but I don’t want it to be exactly the same and I have a couple of ideas in mind. I’m blown away by how many people have said they want me to do this again and the wonderful comments I’ve received. What a kind, encouraging supportive community this is, and I feel very lucky to be part of it 💕❄️🎄☃️🎅🏻 xxxx
I can't believe how fast this year has seemed to pass! Your journal is absolutely fantastic. I have enjoyed each and every video you have done this year. Looking forward to the new year to see what you have in store for all of us. Thank you so much for your ideas and dedication to doing this every week.💕💕
I know, its flown by hasn’t it. Thanks so much for all the kind and encouraging comments you’ve left me every week Sherry. It really does mean a lot ❤️🥰☃️🎄❄️🎅🏻 xxx
Nina, your journal is just a pleasure to watch come together and the end result. I would love something like this next year so we can work along with it too. Hope you don’t go down with the bug, it’s horrible.
This was so fun to watch. I’m not big on doing holiday, Christmas journals or pages but I love snowmen and I’m suddenly inspired to make some. Thank you for that! Your journal is beautiful!
I’ve had so much fun in this journal Dee. Glad you like it, and thanks for my card and ATC which look perfect in the festive pocket. Have a wonderful week. Hugs 💕☃️❄️🎄🎅🏻 xxx
Dear Nina, Thank you so much for such an exciting art adventure. I look forward to your videos and start each morning looking for you, Shel C and Dee. You have no idea the joy it brings to start the day with such upbeat, inspiring, and uplifting artists just by pushing a few buttons. Technology can be such a perk. I have loved all your projects, but this has been my favorite. I made my cover right after you did, but haven't worked in mine as much. In the New Year, I want to rewatch these videos and see if I can finish mine. Your journal is breathtaking.!! God bless you and your throughout the remaining year and in 2020. TFS. I did.😍🎅🎄
Beautiful pages to finish your journal. So lovely to see the final flip through and a great way to see your arty year, looking forward to next years arty videos, x
Hi Nina! OMGOSH ur journal is stunning! I love how u added the birds to the lil inside page it just made that whole middle pop!💕💕🤣🤣 u r an amazingly talented artist. Loved the bobbles page as well & ur snowman page came out beautiful💕🥰 hugs, Donna
I love watching how scraps become art pieces, and I hope you do something similar next year. It goes to show you don’t need a lot of stuff to be creative! X
Thanks Marie. I was hoping to have drastically shrunk my scrap pile this year, but alas its now bigger than ever 😊. I’ll definitely be doing more with scraps again next year ❤️🎄☃️🎅🏻 x
Nina, what a fabulous project this has been, thank you so much for all of the time and hard work you have put into your channel this year, it’s been a joy to watch! Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!Laura xx
"Use your scraps" week has been my favourite as well! I have learned so much and it's been a true joy watching. Thanks so very much,Nina! I hope you stay well, and Merry Christmas⛄🎅
Thanks so much Susannah. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed tucking into my scraps each month and I’ve enjoyed the simplicity and imperfection if this entire journal. Glad you enjoyed it too 💕🎅🏻☃️
Pure gorgeousness throughout the whole journal and a delight to watch you create in it and I absolutely loved the flip-through. Hopefully you will do something similar next year as I have to admit this is also one of my favourites too. Fingers crossed you don't catch 'the lurgy'. Tfs xo
Thanks so much Elizabeth. I’ve loved the simplicity and imperfection of this journal and its been a great place to experiment and just have fun. Glad you enjoyed it too ❤️🥰🎅🏻❄️🎄☃️ xxx
Hi Nina I’ve really enjoyed watching your journal grow. Such a great idea that has also resulted in some really pretty pages. It has come together so well. (Plus, even though you have given yourself permission to work more loosely, your journal has turned out so much neater than any I work in!)
Thanks Wendy. I’ve really enjoyed working in this journal and it was good for me working more loosely and not worrying about things having to be perfect, it was just such a carefree experience from start to finish. I love how eclectic it is and how it walks through the seasons. So glad you enjoyed it too 💕💕💕
Wow! This turned out beautifully! It was so much fun watching this come together throughout the year! Your pages today turned out great. I love how you was the birds, very creative. .It's been a great year and I can't wait to see what you have planned for us in the New Year. Merry Christmas Nina!
Thanks so much dear Alicia. I love that this journal is a mix of projects we’ve all done together as a group, its a lovely reminder. Thanks for following along and Merry Christmas to you too 💕💕💕❄️🎄🎅🏻☃️ xxx
Thanks so much Bina. I’ve been blown away by all the lovely comments throughout the year. Ive had a blast working in this journal and its lovely seeing it complete 💕💕💕
This was my first year watching you and I have looked forward to Sundays all year long! I really enjoyed the art journal and hope you continue something similar in 2020. My favorite was watching you repurpose used items into art...it has taught me to be somewhat of a horder... but in a good way!😊 My husband and I took on raising my great, great nephew this past May. He turned 1 year old on October 9, 2019. I am hoping that you might include some art projects that we might do together or that might be mementos that I can pass to him as he gets older. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season. I'm looking forward to spending Sundays with you in 2020!🎉
Hello Holly, thanks so much for following along with this series and for all the kind words and encouragement. I’m blown away by all the wonderful feedback I’ve received and I have had a blast pulling this eclectic mix of all sorts together. I’ll definitely do more repurposing projects next year as I’m inspired by that too 💕💕💕Unfortunately I won’t be able to do any projects that might appeal to young children as RU-vid are making a lot of changes next year and anything that is seen to be targeted towards children will be instantly demonitised, comments turned off and could result in a whopping $42,530 fine per offending video. 2020 is going to be a tough year for us video creators. They’ll be plenty more fun projects on their way 💕🎄☃️🎅🏻 xxx
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia Sorry I haven't been a consciencious subbie but as I have more free time now maybe you'll see more of me, although I've been a bit disillusioned with my subbies and not always in the mood for creating. Yes at the moment all is well up in Galicia. It's quite a military lock down though to keep people in their homes. xx
Fantastic pages Nina! I definitely saw a bird too and your drawing skills are better than you give yourself credit for! You should be very proud of that journal, it is really wonderful! I hope your boys are feeling better and that you stay healthy!! xxx
Well, they are perhaps not quite as bad as they were 😁. I’ve loved working in this journal and flipping through the finished pages fils me with joy and is a wonderful reminder of all the projects we’ve done together throughout the year. So much of it has been inspired by your wonderful mood boards. Hope everyone is on the mend in your home too 💕❤️☃️❄️🎄🎅🏻 xxx
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia Thanks so much Nina, I thoroughly enjoyed putting the mood boards together, but I am really looking forward to the changes 2020 will bring! xx
I love your journal Nina. I really hope you do this next year, and starting the year fresh, I hope to craft along with you on it. I. have never made any sort of art journal but would love to have a go from start to finish. I don't feel under any pressure for my artwork to be perfect. as nobody ever has to see it. It can just be a personal journey for me. A big thumbs up to you as I have loved watching all your videos and getting inspiration from you . xx
Thanks so much 💕. My thinking cap is on and I have a couple of ideas in mind. I’ve loved the simplicity and imperfection of this junk journal. Its lovely that so many want to follow along again next year 💕💕💕🎄☃️🎅🏻
Such fab pages, I loved how the birds just popped out once you started to draw them in... Loved all this weeks but the journal has been such fun watching you create each page... Can't wait to see what you do next year. 😁 Hope you keep well🤞🏻 there's so many nasty bugs about right now xx hugs E xx❤️🎄
Thanks Elaine, I loved this series and I’m trying to think of something similar for next year that people can play along with if they want to. Glad to say I’m still well and keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way. Sam ended up with bronchitis and has been feeling very unwell. Hope all well with you and big Hugs to you too ❤️☃️🎄 xxx
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia thinking cap time... 🤔🤔🤔 Ah thank you mine all have colds now so I'll probably get it just in time for christmas probably... 🙄🙄🎅Hoping not! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🦌⛄🎄
Fabulous Nina! I love the page with the fox the best. I would love to see a similar or even new regular feature next year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hi Nina, I am a new subbie and I just love the way you work. That bird was a genius idea. It just proved that we can do anything we want with our journals.
Thanks so much Barb. I can’t believe its finished as this year has flown by faster than ever! Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and Happy and Healthy New Year too 💕💕💕❄️🎄🎅🏻☃️ x
Stunning! As I’ve said before a beautiful work of art. Doesn’t seem that long ago you started it and now we’re closing out 2019! Thank you for a great year Nina 💕💫
I know! Where has this year gone. Glad you enjoyed it Debbie and thanks for all of your lovely comments each week, they really do mean a lot 🥰☃️🎄❄️🎅🏻❤️
Hi Nina, I absolutely adore this journal. Every single page tells a story and carries you through the year. Amazing and wishing a Merry Christmas to you and yours
Thanks so much for your lovely comment Yvonne. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed this series as its been such a lot of fun for me. Looking at all the comments, I’ll definitely do something along the same lines next year too 💕x
I love how your journal has turned out! It is absolutely amazing!. I would like to see the way you turned a newspaper sheet into such lovely backgrounds. I hope I can work a bit on any of the weekly prompts soon, and I'd like to see how to integrate them in collage making. Maybe you could include the use of some techniques of painting with collage making, and some advise with color combination? Hope you get better soon. I've been ill myself and right now I have red eyes. it could be conjuntivitis after being down with a cold for more than two weeks already.
Hello Maggie. Thanks for your feedback, its much appreciated. Here is the link to the video showing how I made the newspaper background ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-izpfrRW1RD0.html. I hope you feel better soon 💕
Good morning nina, in holland we say..nina gets "" een tien met een griffel ". The book has turned out so beautiful and watching you create it was pure yoy. Hope you"re not going to be ill. Have a good good week. Love lena
Thanks so much lovely Lena 😊. I had to look that one up, but wow I’m truly flattered 🥰. Thanks so much for all the kind and encouraging comments you’ve left throughout this series as they mean so much to me. Have a wonderful week my friend ❄️🎄☃️🎅🏻💕 xxx
This was my favorite projects that you did as well. I really love how this turned out. I do hope you do something similar to this next year. Merry Christmas.. Kristin
