Good morning nina, another two very pretty pages added to the book. Loved the way you made the backgrouds, I too saw trees emerge. Colourwise autumn is very inspiring.Next week I'm going to visit a paperwork-event and I'm going to buy myself a crocodile, as you say a very nice tool.Can hardly wait till the book is finished, love it sooooo much. What you did with the chalk crayons produced a nice crackle-effect - and probably cheaper too! Good advice about adding water to the Mod Podge. I'll have to remember that. I find MP too sticky too.

Those pages are so sweet! Everytime you use that journal I want to make one. I bought a large childrens book at a rummage sale to use, but just can't seem to wrap my head around how I want to do it. I guess it will make a good winter project. 😘

Hi Patty, I tend to use what every I have been previously using during the month either as inspiration or to make my pages. This month was inspired by the autumn project I created last week. I find by just adding a couple of elements from projects I’ve been working on leads to ideas and the creativity then starts flowing. I guess my advise is to dive straight in and see where it leads. I had no plan for these pages when I started other than to add the tissue paper. I hope that helps and happy creating 💕🍁🍂🦊🦉🐿

Wendy Stapleton - I think you can buy deli paper on line, but it’s expensive. You don’t need it, I use baking parchment which I think is somewhat similar although someone may say different.

Only one tag like this one! It’s adorable. I always get a kick when projects turn out differently than I thought they would. Your background is one. I love how you went over the background with the gesso and then some pastels. The creases really look like branches! Very creative page, Nina. I must do a similar background and whatever I can find for a focal point , and if I do, I will share on your FB page. BTW, love the jute ribbon you used on the inside. That cardboard piece would be fun to play with on a gel plate.

So great to find a friendly, clear speaking English voice and the use of English products! Love the crumpled tissue paper effect. Hi Jonathan, thanks so much for your lovely comment, its much appreciated. I buy my Fabritac from Amazon. Its manufactured by a company called Beacon who make another glue called 3 in 1 which is cheaper than Fabritac, but many claim its the same product.
