Many of you asked for it too, and after weeks of waiting, I finally got my hands on the the incredible Proton Satria GTI 1.8! Born in 1998, I bought one of the first ones when it came out because I was blown away by it. It remains the LAST new car I ever bought.
A proper, proper hot-hatch from Proton, it raised the bar for all (then) new hot-hatches, and it's still an incredible car two decades on. Finding one in original condition like this is almost impossible these days, and proof of just how good it is, is the fact that they're still being stolen!
Proton got it right with the first try when it comes to this car, and with no real successor, it's definitely what we car guys would call a 'unicorn'. If you have one like this, I salute you. Hold on to it and keep it as original as possible :)
