@BCNeil
Whenever I see someone with a Mach-E. I chuckle to myself.
@stanwbaker
It's not that EVs make up to much of the product mix. It's that GM assumed people were desperate for $70k circus wagons.
@TonyGoff-Yu
Super interesting, but some cutaways to the cars you're talking about would help. I had no idea what the Lyriq looked like 😂
@TahoeKing
US cars market is going down in a crazy rate, REPOs are also up in an alarming way. People can't pay the inflated prices anymore! It's about time cars manufacturers wise up and take those illogical prices down or suffer the consequences
@kenth151
I saw a poll that just came out and a lot of people now do not want an EV. PHEV's or Hybrids .. yes but not a EV.
@marcelstanford430
Great episode. Thank you.

GM's Ultium disaster will be a business case study for generations to come
@Jazzmaster71
Who on their right mind buys a CT? That vehicle represents everything that is wrong with the automotive industry today.
@aroundomaha
I am not an EV hater but the reality is that they do not fit my life very well.

"blob on wheels" actually describes any mercedes ever....

You should have cuts of the car you speak about. I know your audience knows but still we like to look at what you talk about. The Supra is nice but give me cuts.
@guylarabie8229
The reason GM and FORD EVs aren't selling is that they do not have compelling vehicles. Less power, range, durability, etc. Also, dealers add on useless add ons.
@tuomasholo
I am laughing watching the used cybertruck inventory grow on dealer lots. They’re trading them in or selling to dealers.

16:67 To your point here... its why we are seeing the M5 wagon, its why we have the RS6 Avant, and its why we haaaaaad the E63 Wagon. Wagons don't sell but they do sell if you hot rod them out but doing that German style means big money = small market which is why it all fits. Its a product that hits the boxes and its why we see it still when we don't see traditional wagons anymore.
@hwirtwirt4500
The build quality (Cybertruck) is the worst I've ever seen, the owners are going to regret they dumped $100K on this nightmare.
@drewyager4020
I saw four Lyric’s in a row yesterday in Bellevue WA. Looked like a dealer move. All different colors. They did look big
@costaricasurf66
Can’t believe you didn’t mention many people put deposits down on cybertruck with intention of flipping. People are flipping them for a profit and dealers are using them as a prop to get people to stop by. The dealer will pay over value and use it as a loss leader to increase the overall sales. I’m not fan of the cybertruck but the tech is great. Ie 48 volt architecture and steer by wire.
@aurorajones8481
I ride a Ducati, daily. When i see these Cyber truck things ill stand up and fart on the truck in traffic. Or at least make the gesture. My point is i don't think that truck garners positive attention. I think its the opposite. The ppl who buy i think they will be ooo'd and awww'd instead its assssss and ewwww. I seriously think the negative attention is palpable.

I feel like the government and manufacturers thought consumers would flock to EVs in droves. The only problem is that they are severely unaffordable unless you finance into oblivion, but current interest rates are preventing most from doing so. If you are a cash buyer you wouldn’t want to be stuck with a rapidly depreciating asset. I think automakers are finally beginning to realize we need more affordable vehicles like the stalwart Camry moving forward.
