Here we have Kev giving you a run through and demo of this excellent Used Epiphone EJ200-NAT.
The EJ-200-NAT is based on a guitar classic form of the manufacturer Gibson, which was first introduced in 1939: The Super Jumbo SJ-200. Due to the large jumbo body, the EJ-200 produces the typical warm and voluminous sound that has already helped the original to world fame. Finally, this "guitar bass wonder" is also available at a very reasonable price. Equipped with a maple body and a solid spruce top, this instrument can produce extremely full basses, warm mids and a balanced overtone spectrum. Last but not least, this Super Jumbo with MOP Crown inlays in the fretboard and a floral pickguard is a real feast for the eyes.

Good guitar and excellent review. Can I ask you a question. Appreciate it if you could help. I have the same model and when I removed the bridge there was a metal strip underneath with a braided wire attached and connected inside the guitar body to the strap nut. What is this?

That is a piezo pickup, which is a type of pickup made of crystals wrapped in wire that sits under the saddle and turns the vibrations of the strings into an electrical signal. This makes the guitar an electro-acoustic - that is, an acoustic you can plug in. If the pickup is connected directly to the strap button, it sounds like a passive one (some piezo pickup will be routed to a battery-powered preamp first to beef up the signal). The strap button should have a hole in the middle that will allow you to plug in a standard jack cable to connect the guitar to an amplifier, mixing desk, recording interface, etc. Hope that helps! -Mike
