The 5-holed Kraahkan is very rare! I remember someone sold it on Bricklink a year or so ago for $200. Something tells me it’s about as rare as the pearl gold Kraahkan, but the difference is one is much more sought after than the other. Great haul Chris, rip Irnakk spine ☹️
man these masks are aleays cool to see, even in different colours. I wish there was a book just on bionicle masks and their lore. Like a Mask Builder Tome. There's so much lore you always learn something new! Even better if it was written by THE mask builder himself!
Bricks and Minifigs started in my home state. It’s so awesome to see youtubers going there. (Come to the OG one in Canby sometime, that place is amazing).
Yeah man, you got a ton of value in the bionicle bulk, like you said the pearl gold Brutaka pieces are worth at least $40 on bricklink alone. I work at a different Bricks and Minifigs and there is always a lot of value in the Bionicle bulk and in bionicle stuff in general :)
I bought my 5-hole Kraahkan a month ago for around $100. I also remember looking up the prices for them half a year ago and they were around that price as well.
O_O OK here’s the thing, as I mentioned to you before I’m in charge of all things Bionicle at the Bricks & Minifigs I work at. In my work room at home, I have Bionicle parts in bins sorted into different cadigories. Masks, armor, weapons, torsos, etc. are use these parts to patch up incomplete sets before selling in our store. In the mask bin, I have a mask of shadows with five chin holes, I assumed it was a fortune hall and someone just cut out a section trying to turn it into a six chin hole mask. Now you’re telling me that I’m in possession of a super rare misprint mask?!?! 🤯
That’s a real good haul, I can see that broken Irnakk spine having some really interesting uses that you would otherwise NEVER try, because who’s gonna break an Irnakk spine willingly? I personally find the 5-hole Kraahkan disappointing, since most Bionicle mask misprints are something interesting like a new color or something, but it’s still super rare and I’m glad you were finally able to get your hands on one
Man, Andre and I have a list of all the cannon Tohunga and they're a lot. I see a few pieces there I could use, hahaha. Also, you won't believe me but I dreamt with the Xplode figure before it even came out. Only in my dream it was blue. I was shocked when I found it in a store.
Ugh I wish I had one of these stores near my place. I've been plagued with the Bionicle Dream for years and would love to have someplace like this where I could find old Bionicle parts and sets
The first thing I point out to myself when watching this video is that this was filmed before the time I went, because I can still see the 01 rahi on display (I bought them when I was at this store), but also this video makes me want to go back to bricks & minifigs because apparently I'm missing out on something, I didn't know they were selling kanohi masks, so anyway, this video (like all your bionicle related videos) reinforces my jealousy of your bionicle collection.
There's a Brick and Minifigs in my state. I stuffed a smaller ziploc bag full of Bionicle pieces I cherry picked from a table full of technic, Constraction, and CCBS pieces. I actually found a red Hau Nuva and Pearl Gold Vahi (Mask of Time). I don't know how rare the Pearl Gold Vahi is, but I have a feeling it's worth more than the price I paid for my Ziploc Bag of parts. I now want to check my old Kraahkan because I had never heard of the 5 hole variant before.
Vahi only came in flat gold, it was released in Toys 'R' Us exclusive "Ultimate Accessory Kits" but it is definitely very rare regardless, more rare than the orange one for sure.
@@FifteenthApollo I thought it was called "Pearl Gold" but I'm no expert with the colors. I think it's basically the same gold you see for Llikahn's Hau and armor. I don't have the orange Vahi, unfortunately.
Bricks and minifigs isn't I'm Maryland tho.... Maybe I should open a store... U talk about how useful these parts r for Bionicle mocs but I use the pieces I find in used Craigslist hauls in StarWars mocs. I'm not into Bionicle at all but the pieces r great for detail. I watch ur Bionicle videos mainly because of it enthusiasm and I'm a fan of looking through any Lego parts hauls
They don't usually take them apart themselves, they buy people's old Lego bins and such and sort through the parts, and pick out the Bionicle pieces and whatnot, and sell them that way. So it's really kids who "parted out" those rare sets like 15 years ago when they were new.
@@IronFishChannel my local location has told me they do. Each franchise location probably had different practices, but the fact that intact chunks of sets and such make it seem that this location did too. Sucks to see.
Wow great haul! A bricks and minfigs is opening near me this may, I can not wait. 20:14, Yeah that may be my fault partially, I have bought over 150 of them in black for the Dark Hunters, Rahi, and other Mocs over the last few months. I have actually finished all the dark hunters and only 3 Rahi away from all of them!
I can't beleive I'm doing this But: can anyone help me out I'm Looking for a Lego resale Store In Winnipeg MB? I Am not that comfortable using bricklink yet.
