This'll be my last recorded order video for awhile. Thanks to everyone who has watched this little series, and I hope you've enjoyed. Become a channel member to get early access to new videos! / @cheeseystudios
if you decide to go down the route of making a big trww for your island moc, then you could make it a cherry blossom and use the hundreds of pink frogs from the bonsai tree on that!
I actually have a wave 2 Aedric funnily enough. It's kind of crazy to think these apparently unexpectedly rare figures were the first lego sets I owned, i'm fairly sure (and one I still have!) That cobra is really stunning, though. Really surprising they haven't brought it back at all.
@CheeseyStudios That would be cool, it's definitely statistical data that lego keeps to track sales and production, but sharing with us would be awesome haha
They're great to have! Wish it was more common, but at least a lot more seem to be popping up on Bricklink now as kids grow out of that Creeper Mine set
Yo my favorite series on RU-vid. This was such a great vid and bricklink order love learning about the obscure parts you pick up and great to see gimme a brick (he’s one of my favs) great video Caleb can’t wait for the next Order.
You are such an inspiration to me as a person, and as a builder. Thank you for all of the effort and time you put into your work. The moment I saw your channel and recognized you from lego masters, I was completely flabbergasted. I look forward to your upcoming videos.
I love watching your bricklink orders. It's nice to see somebody can buy this lego and build something amazing from it 6:13 what minifigure is this? I have somewhere torso from it
There's actually a piece like that old gray rusted roof piece, it's a sticker not a print but it came in some old city swamp police set, I had it as a kid and instantly remembered it. Set number 60068 Lego city swamp hideout.
@@CheeseyStudios 100% agreed. Rock Raiders used chrome drills really well, and to date stand as best "original" non-build-your-action-figure theme Lego did. It's lowkey crime they did Power Miners instead of Rock Raiders Return
Any sort of Minecraft CMF would be awesome - they could do rare mobs like the brown panda, new sheep colors, brown mooshroom, new villager types, the mansion mobs.... So many great things that wouldn't necessarily fit into a regular set
i could never imagine how you even go about sorting the amount of parts you have or how much space you'll need to display all your mocs AND sets AND parts literally a house or two full
My last order I purchased a replacement brown tepee support for the Chief’s Tepee set and they sent me one that’s like a slightly lighter shade of brown and I don’t have the energy or nerve to mention it to them.
@@CheeseyStudios It always happens when you are trying to separate two plates, or when you try taking apart two pieces that really want to stay together
I think it's cool to have the series keep the trend of buying for a reason but then also having a bunch of other stuff either semi-related or you just found to be neat and such :p Edit: Love that 5000 pieces can just fit in a roughly shoe box sized box :v
I'm glad you like that part of it too! I'm just a sucker for the weird stuff. And besides, the useful things are never really that exciting xD And yeah, when it's all 1x1's it doesn't really feel like 5000 pieces!
You know those pieces could also work well for either the space colony arc or the death egg from the Sonic universe? Seriously if Lego loses the license to Star Wars at any point and still has this license to Sonic they could just reuse half of the license since pieces that they've made for Star Wars to make Sonic play sets! Just do some minor remolding you can turn a dark star destroyer into the egg carrier. [while my dream set did not include for wave two being focused on SA1 is because namely I was trying to think of getting a lot of characters so referencing a lot more on Sonic heroes was my main goal because that's one of the biggest problems with Lego oh I feel like is that they have way too many exclusive minifigs and they often release too many duplicate minifigs in waves when they already have a good setup for setting off the production cost]
Ive never bought anything from Bricklink before, my parents did a great job instilling paranoia in the sense of "all internet offers are scams" that I still struggle with today. Though I gotta look into it, I've done some math and I don't think it's actually much more expensive than filling cups at a Lego store. Especially when buying 2x6 pieces. 10 of those and your cup is already halfway full.
As long as you order from a store with good feedback (99%+) you'll never go wrong. Even if the seller does make a mistake, you'll find them more than happy to make it right by you.
Definitely! I just haven't had much time to build anything with RU-vid and my other job. 😔 I'd love to do some more classroom scenes, maybe a really nice Hagrid's hut... So many possibilities!
Yeah - they're your standard grille plates - brickset.com/parts/4141999/radiator-grille-1x2 I use them almost exclusively in the Minecraft builds I do as the texture for a cactus block though, so I've come around to calling them "cactus pieces" unintentionally xD
I just had a thought pop in my head. The armor pieces for Sir Edrick(?) could make a nice head piece for a robotic cyclops. I should buy that piece. Edit: I believe I’ve commented this before someday, but I am very curious what your wife is up to with her builds. I’d just love to see them.
I love your content you are one of the greatest Lego creators to ever exist in this platform and you inspired me to create with legos even more so I appreciate it 😊
You'll spot them in this video I bet 😉 They're part of the Eurobricke collaborative display! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-COU6yzSisDo.html
I dont know if im just unlucky but when i order something on bricklink i always have to wait several weeks and i hate it. They often dont give me all of the pieces i ordered and there is never an apology for it i dont know man i dont get it but im happy to see you being such a creative dude, im excited to see how the ship turns out, im sure that you will do an amazing job
Best advice I can give is to take a look at a store's feedback before you order and read any neutral or negative comments. It'll usually reveal if a seller has a history of errors, and whether or not he amends them.
Witty comment I'd normally go into more detail and pick apart the insanity, but 1: I'm really tired, and B, something else, and also; have a great life.
The realization of the tail was awesome!!! I was waiting to see how long it would take you to notice 😂😂 also loved the ending. Yes. We Lego people are crazy
my moc experience has so far consisted of putting one by ones on top of 1x2 plates, so i’m gonna need a bit more complex practice before i can start competing at a higher level lol
I've been a big fan of your revisiting themes, and was wondering if you would consider a Lord of the Rings/Hobbit then v now with the release of Rivendell. I love the old LOTR sets, and didn't get them when I was younger, as I was too young to have read the books.
I love legos but i alsk like mega because hey make halo and there making a halo xbox 360 that comes with a light up xbox and ckntroller and a halo 3 case with a game on it all made from lego or mega and is gona have a cortana chip on the inside im so exited for it
About the trans medium blue gemstone! There are actually 3 included in the big viking longship! I remember being a bit confused about them not being there in your retrospective video, but i brushed it off and forgot about it. But now i checked the chest on my own model and they are still there to this day. Also checked bricklink and they list the ship there too. I guess you raided your ship like a viking at some point and forgot about it :P
You do confirm when the order is received, and then again when you've verified all the parts are there and correct. The seller only minds when you send an e-mail saying something is wrong! Life happens and orders can't always be opened the day they hit your box.
