Useless things I noticed in Murder Drones Episode 8 

For the peoppe wondering how Uzi got control of the solver, I read a thread on twitter essentially saying that it was fear that got the solver control. Uzi had control until she got scared/unsure. Notice whenever Uzi is afraid and tries ro use the solver, the solver uses that as a gateway. After her pep-talk with her mom, her mom gave her confidence and with N alive by her side (for a minute or so) she felt safe enough and knew that she had to not be scared so she could have control over the solver

The sentinel is wearing Beau’s hat because V remembers his sacrifice and is honoring him

To answer the radio thing, it’s been established that there are a lot of anachronisms in this world. They use VHS tapes, fax machines, CRT monitors, and even Tessa’s parents dress like they’re from the 1900s. It’s just the kind of bizarro world the show takes place in.

The most useless yet funny detail is that Glitch made a lot of (I think total of 5 or 7?) new display eyes expressions exclusively for episode 8, but they all were used only ONCE.

2:05 I need to mention that this is a floating mass of island hurtling away from the planet… meaning that V was literally just waiting up here with her Sentinel to make a cool entrance. There’s no other way she could just suddenly get up there, so she was hiding and waiting.

It’s very questionable whether Cyn wants to be good to her brother but here’s the thing, THEY ARE SIBLINGS so you could be going head to head in a brawl and then the next moment having a wholesome time. Also n didn’t respond to Cyn and that is a act of war in sibling-hood. ☕️

If you didnt know from the hundreds of videos explaining it, doll is alive. When you eat the heart of another solver drone it will get absorbed into you, although doll seems to have been easily supressed by cyn. Also we know this since in the scene where uzi ate the heart of cyn we get a pov shot and for a split second on the right we see uzi's name change to doll with the russian language setting

Watched someone who pointed out that despite the captions saying SOLVER for Uzi's tail, it might actually be Cyn- somehow, I imagine, it would be that Uzi has the Solver's abilites, but has Cyn in her tail. I reallised that a lot of the other viewers during the live play of the episode, upon seeing the post credits scene, had all found it to be really funny while i was sitting there like "ITS??? PART OF HER???? NO?????" Lol. Getting demoted to tail pet is kinda funny, but id be lying if i wasn't worried for Uzi's mental health (also the bow has horrific repeated trauma implications, a.k.a the new skinsuit for the solver)

Okay for the credits it was confirmed that the plant went back into place (somehow) after Cyn got eaten and the person in the hallway was a nod to how Doll killed a bunch of people who were going for prom queen back in Episode 3 same with Eldritch J

Gah! The gravity thing, again! Its supposed to be inertia or something, but they didn’t do enough to visually explain what was going on and also had J just straight up call it gravity. I understood it, I understood it wasn't very good, and now I suffer everytime someone brings it up.

Everything has an explanation if you try hard enough. 0:11 They probably use older tech because it's easier to mass produce, and given that they're on an exoplanet, they'd want to focus more on practicality than convenience. 0:56 The tenrils are holograms and the Solver's holograms can manipulate physical matter. 1:14 Nori's Solver allows her to quickly carve and un-carve the meteoroid. It's also possible she's using holograms, but then she'd just display a text box like Cyn. 1:21 Pocket dimensions or teleportation. 1:26 Uzi's Solver malfunctioned causing her CPU to overheat. The fire simply isn't hot enough to cause a problem. Copper-9's atmosphere is thinner than Earth's and the star it orbits is likely hotter than the Sun, so the light from the star would be hotter than the fire, which is why sunlight causes them to overheat but not fire. 2:08 The gravity was high because the 'island' was spinning incredibly fast and accellerating. Though, it's more like inertia, as the ground is constantly moving towards them instead of them being pulled into the ground. When V kicked the missle back at J, it caused it to stop spinning so 'gravity' went back to normal. 2:53 Short answer: Fear. Long answer: Every time the Solver takes control of her (episodes 4, 6, and 7), she is experiencing great fear. The Solver likely uses this fear to lower her mental defences and slip in. However, Nori told Uzi it could only control her if she "a lil' b----". This caused her to be more brave and confident (and edgy) to resist its control. 3:35 Disassembly Drones can only see and display yellow while worker drones can see and display any visible color. It's also a different font. 4:12 The screams of the billions of humans and drones Cyn killed and assimilated. 4:32 They are partly organic, have flexible parts, and can literally breathe. Besides, disassembly drones are insanely strong, so N could probably crush Uzi if he tried hard enough. 4:43 Zbynek (the red sentinel) is doing donuts with the bus around Thad and Lizzy. 5:15 everything fell back into the planet after Cyn stopped screwing with physics. The Solver-shaped hole shows that they didn't fall back down perfectly though. As for how the corpse spire is still standing, I guess they were just really thorough with the support cables. 5:56 Murder Drones anime adaptation showing Uzi and V as humans. 6:12 Zbynek is damaged so the limitations to his AI are probably mostly gone. Also, the keybug is alive. 6:30 Eldritch J's core turned into a singularity and escaped. It likely rebuilt whatever it could and, since Cyn is part of Uzi now, it's probably relatively tame. See? Everything can be explained.

0:43 I AM GOD!

Uzi burning in atmosphere and being fine as opposed to the high temperature caused by running the Solver is likely a case of internal and external temperature. The friction is burning the air around her as she’s falling but her internal systems seem to be fine whereas the other case it’s her systems overheating from the inside. The former is like being in a shuttle, her external chassis is strong enough to withstand it and insulate her internal systems from the heat. The latter is like running a high fever, no amount of external protection is going to fix your own body going haywire.

3:36 in ep4 uzi displayed purple "FATAL ERROR" while bullying V so eh, there's only 50% chance of that being an animation mistake

The reason she was over-heating before was because of solver overuse AND anger so this gets a pass, but what I thought was “Ah. Inflammatory clothes. Sure” 1:34

I actually have a head cannon about 1:24 that since they’re mining drones they are heavily insulated to deal with the heat below copper 9’s crust. That insulation also keeps heat in so internal heat is going to build up while external heat doesn’t reach their components

Also the sentinel was holding Lizzie in its mouth when they all come in when Khan closes the *_door_*

Something else in bit me a line is “eat my heart take my soul let it burn you!”if you go just before Uzi eats cubs heart her hand gets burnt. Cool

I'm so glad I'm not the only one questioning how they didn't overheat while literally being surrounded in a ball of fire during reentry.

I think Uzi is slowly gaining imunity to being possessed by being exposed to possession more often . Like how an immune system is more effective at fighting illnesses it's fought before.

4:01 When she's about to disguise herself as N, the hologram code says "prank" followed by ">:3" Additionally, when it pans out from Uzi's face to reveal N from behind, you can see one of the Solver claws that are positioning the corpse drawing away. Lots of fun details during that one scene of the fight.

Am I the only one that thaught that the "callback ping" was actually "come back here"?

Also one thing I noticed, after dolls corpse is shown at the end, Lizzy stares at V’s shoulder and purposefully lays her head on her shoulder💀👌

From what we see whenever Uzi gets taken over by Cyn she isn't ready for it and is usually under a lot of stress in the moment but in episode 8 she is in a slightly more stable mental state and whe can see Cyn trying to hack her directly instead of doing it from a far

You dint see the dad doing a ninja run

The gravity was higher because the chunk of planet they were on was still accelerating upwards. It eventually slowed down.

I know that the X's as Cyn's eyes are probably like that cause she wears Tessa's skin and there's the nose so they wouldn't make her have that single X, but imagine it just being the solver mocking the drones like saying "oh hey check out my DEAD Tessa cosplay!😵" considering how manipulative and playful it is

0:56 Those are the tentacles that tried to drag Uzi and N into the pit, they're just glowing with energy. 1:11 We don't see it, but Nori is swapping out rocks when the scenes cut from her to Uzi. 2:50 When the Solver took her over before, she was scared, confused, and unaware that she was and could be taken over. With the fire thing I was like so the same drone who burns in sunlight has no problem being on fire like what!? And the Vsauce jumpscare at the end got me

Forgive me if I’m mistaken but I remember that every time the solver had control over uzi she did not have that necklace on. So I think her having the necklace is preventing cyn from controlling her.

About the hugging part, its been established that (for some reason) drones have hearts (cores) and other organs. Which enables their need for sleep. Etc, and due to the fact dissasembly drones are strong as they are, the noise was prolly caused due to N hugging her really tightly.

Once Uzi’s possessed tail pops up, her eyes become pure purple again, like the solver/Cyn got pulled into the tail and out from her eyes. Just something cool I noticed

Cyn is just like a cat and she is so nice

Funny thing Raptors (the animal sentinels are inspired by) are actually EXTREMELY smart and very social wich is y V’s sentinal is so smart

the chess thing makes sense, since chess is more about pattern recognition than pure intelligence and a strong sense of pattern recognition is useful to effectively navigate and systematically eliminate worker drones however that gas tank thing implies both the ability to plan ahead and high level of abstract thinking, which again helps in eliminating worker drones, but there's no need to have THAT high of a level of abstract thinking and problem solving when all you need to do is patrol a set area, those levels of both abstract thinking and problem solving are more a liability than help

2:54 if you paid attention the necklace that nori gave her when they were in space made her be able to control the solver

Nothing, I repeat NOTHING, is useless in Murder Drones.

I just realized technically murder drones can be continued in a different series without continuing the murder drones one because it ended

2:53 I believe its Uzi's necklace, from her mother her mother used it for the same reason, to resist the solvers grip, and Uzi only got taken over back on preveious episodes when she threw it away in a pouty teen rage and when her mom gave it back, or a copy of it during the space scene, shes now safe again The mom probably got or made it herself to protect herself for the same reason likely

At 5:08 that is supposed to be the solver symbol (or at least part of it anyway) for the rest of the credits scene it’s not exactly that every single thing is shown is after the events of the show, but rather it just seems to be in any order it wants to be (I assume this because you can see J repairing the first dropship they came in on, but earlier in the episode it was shown she blew it up)

Fact about episode 7: there are multible times where tenticles or dragging paterns make a heart as i belive Uzi and N is in love

cool video :p here's a couple of things: 2:08 it's not that gravity is no longer strong, it's that J was just recently high up in space, where gravity was lower. she wasn't calibrated to the regular gravity of copper-9, so to her it would've been relatively strong gravity. 2:20 the air canister falls back down into the sentinel's mouth despite being in zero gravity 3:42 it's likely N can somewhat control his core like Nori does, so that's likely why it goes straight back to his corpse 4:28 yeah the robots in this show aren't really ever that robotic, they're basically just humans, it definitely feels weird. 5:07 in the scene before that shows the classroom, there's a sleeping student who suddenly wakes up to scream for seemingly no reason Also in the classroom, if you think about it, N is drawing and throwing notes during his girlfriend's presentation, that's really disrespectful. I guess he was there and doesn't really need to be filled in but still that's really weird 5:16 we don't know how long after the final fight the credits take place, or even the classroom scene for that matter, so it's technically possible that everyone spent time putting the planet back together, but your point still definitely stands

I love this and a few things to say the reason she was able to defy the solver was because of the necklace. Her mother gave her. I don’t know how that works but OK the part I am taking the CYN part all out of context because I feel the same and those damn raptors are too smart
