Like from the title, or the video where you can see it's Tokido playing or from the commentary referring to the Akuma player as Tokido? is it really that far fetched (no) that Tokido would beat Daigo? this ain't some rando from your local weekly, lol edit: like no hate on Daigo ofc, but come on. it's very lovely that there are people still commenting on these old cpt videos. Usf4 was the first fgc esport for so many of us, that nostalgia often makes it seem like this game was so much better that it actually was, but fuck man, sfv being shit at the start really ruined the game for me, I couldn't ever get into it. This game is truly special, the daigo vs Alex valle ryu vs ryu match in ssf4 is street fighter down to its basic components, it feels so raw to play shoto mirrors and whiff punish your opponents cr. mk with your own cr. mk into hadouken... I'm not even 30 but this game makes me feel like an old man reminiscing about the better times.

This is easily my favorite USF4 set of all time, hands down

Tokido's facial expression is just plain scary. Like Norman Bates scary.

There were a few times where Tokido could have teleport Ultra 2 whiff punished Daigo. It's a cancel that I rarely ever see used and is actually a lot stronger than people think it is.

Daigo is still a very good player. always been, Tokido was on point. gg

top 8 of this tourney with the Japanese was all staged lol. Tokido picking anybody other than akuma during a grand finals match I call b.s. I'm happy for mago but I bet they was like "mago doesn't win as many majors let mago take" lol and the price pool wasn't that to bad from 1st to 2nd. not to mention daigo is 1st in points lmao!

focus attacks let someone predict and punish predictable fireballs among other things. SF 5 is just too simple. It doesnt all any kind of freedoms it just very simple basic options like super turbo which is good for new players, but super boring to watch.
