Earlier this year, I went on a trip with my dad to use his most capable old camper truck for the exact thing the 402 big block was meant for: Hauling heavy loads. That load is a 1957 Chevy 6500, a totally base model grain truck that has all the parts we need for more interesting projects like an 8500 tandem axle, but that will likely also have its own revival one day. Think of it as borrowing parts, not stealing them.
