Great technique Jason! I do paint correction on the side and refer all my customers to this video for dust removal. They all keep their cars looking like I'd just finished them using this process. I've tried several high quality towels with this process and the RC Everest 1100 has worked the best. Easily absorbs excess product, deep pile to pull any stray particles away from paint, and super soft and gentle.

I use this along with Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer or Mothers California Gold Detailer and car is like its got mad new paint.

I wish I had seen this video years ago. I destroyed my car from improper use. I pressed so hard that it ripped all the clear coat off. But I kept rubbing. Then all the paint came off. I didn't notice so I didn't stop because I was going so fast. Then I kept wiping so much that all the road shattered, the roof ripped off and I dented the hood, fenders, doors and quarter panels. Once I realized what I had done, I was super sad. After I was done weeping, I poured gasoline all over the car and set it on fire. People! You must always use Bob Ross proper duster technique.

I can keep my truck looking nice for about a week with commuting and sitting outside with the California duster. Just got into waterless washes, id like to try and extend that to two weeks.

To make the duster even more effective, spritz the duster with a light mist of water...very light, one shake to disperse excess and then do as instructed in this video. The water helps in removing the dust instead of pushing it around. I have a black bmw with no scratches. Been doing it this way for years on all my vehicles. It works.

Okay, I was skeptical but ordered the duster and waterless wash. Bottom line: Use as DIRECTED and they work. People look at my 2012 Mercedes 350 SLK and ask if its new.

I was a little concerned of my freshly painted Z. I maybe drove it 200 miles this year (2018). I wasn't sure how to go about the waterless wash I use from Chemical guys If I should use that BEFORE or AFTER dusting but the duster is thin moreso like a mop..Same process? So far I used Fresh Microfiber/scratchless cloths to wash and I have not seen swirls yet, I washed three times so far without dusting First... but I see you use spray chemicals after dusting.. Is both acceptable?

@Rubber Duc, great video - this is the way I remove dust and pollen from my car in between real washes. Do you have any thoughts to share on how you use the duster on the vertical panels? It's pretty near impossible to do those without using some pressure. Thanks!

Great video👍 I have a black 370Z so you can imagine the nightmare that is as far as dust. However my California duster makes it less irritating. And from a car guy to a car guy, isnt that final buffing after the quick detailer like the most rewarding feeling? 😆 I cant help it, im like you when it comes to being picky about detailing my car. Im gonna check out the one you're useing. Ive always used and swore by Meguires but theres always something better.

Would it be a bad idea to use this if I park out side. I just washed my car and maguiar spray waxed it yesterday, but it’s black and it’s gets dusty when I park! I would love to be able to use this when my car is just dusty...
