A quick general tip: if you want a more maneuverable aircraft, you should put your center of pressure directly in the middle or even slightly above your center of mass. Though it will make your aircraft harder to control.

You can go to your seat and set pitch dump to some number(higher number = less maneuverable) its something like fly by wire

Very cool! Having modelled an A10 for a HL2 mod some ~15 years ago, i actually remember this exact same blueprint lol, great to see it still floats around the web hehe. There should be a matching frontal/rear view too, that (among some other things) shows how the wings curve down at the tips, but honestly it's 95% perfect already, well done! 👍

If you press the camera button in build mode, you can change the view direction like: left, up and more. You can also change the displacement type, this can help when you are using blueprints. You can easily change trim in flight if you press the three bars and go into controls, where if you press controls you get a menu for: pitch, roll, yaw, flaps (auto to 1 for some reason) and speedbrake (there might be another one but am not sure) If you activate mirror mode, material painting will mirror to the other side, with can make changing the cockpit to glass take less time!

lately ive been really enjoying your flyout vids, if your are reading this i have a challenge. if there is vtol in the game, it would be absolutely amazing if you can make the Harrier Jump Jet (if you know it) because i think it would be quite fun to use when finished and a pretty interesting vid (also great vid i could tell 1 day this plane would be built by you lol)

little late, but did you know you can press numpad5 to go into orthographic mode? this removes perspective and makes it easier to accurately copy shapes from a blueprint. you can also use numpad7 for top view, numpad1 for front view, numpad3 for left view, and numpad9 to invert your view. I find these very helpful in the building process.

A huge challenge would be the F-14B. The A version while it has more power, the motors where easier to stall.

Hey yzuei i love these videos as a real aviator fan i noticed that the gun on the front was perfectly centered, but irl it slithly to the left side. Yuezi I super much recommend you build a MiG-23ML with its variable sweep wings, you don’t need to build the sweep but I would love to see the plane with its R24R or T missile and it’s R60M’s

Yzuei there is actually a way to use a flight stick in trailmakers You can basically find some programs that convert your flight sticks input in to controller inputs tricking the game into thinking your playing on controller

I suggest to go slowly and start with planes that are stable like a-10 or cargo planes then go to something more maneuverable like su27 to learn how to set up fly by wire and then to something fast like a 12 and learn to set the engines.

Did you know the wheels on the rear landing gear on the a-10 are exposed so in the event of a hydraulic failure the a-10 can still land safely.

I have an idea for another 2v2 space battle in trailmakers but this time with bigger builds and the only restriction is 150powercores because thats not that much for bigger spaceships... mine get up to 250 without have many weapons
