Using a lensometer part 2 , measuring prism 

When setting direction on a lensometer does a + or - lens affect how you do this. Ex you want 2 prism diopters BO on OS. So you go right 2. Why doesn't the base direction of the + or - lens matter in this?

Why that base out prism the object / target moves toward base or to the left? as we know object moves toward Apex

How do you get the prism ?

Did you need to find the Optical Centre prior to measuring the Prism?

Could you explain how it's done when there is more than 5 diopters of prism?

How do I determine the PD (Ocular center) on a finished pair of glasses with prism? For example, if a patient brings in an outside pair of glasses and I don't have the PD they measured it at.

Will a positve or negative sphere influence the base direction?
