A classic clearing operation, to reduce traffic and congestion on the roads of Metro Manila. Merry Christmas one and all! This was shoot before Christmas.
Yeah that's the thing.. 🤷♂️ I guess they're used to solo fixed-post enforcers who might be busy trying to manage traffic at the same time. Those enforcers that might just give a "verbal warning" and let them continue without verifying if there's really a license.
It was a great job MMDA to make this clearing operations for road and side walk, for people to pass safely and the road is for the use of all passing vahicles, Not a permanent garage of private vehicle owners. Keep up the good work Hoping that this operation will go on all over the country for the safety of all people's and to use the road as a free from all obstructions. God Bless.
Repeated tickets or towing on the same violation should be punished more. Doing that means that they know they are doing something wrong but still does it again or they are underestimating the law. Gadget Addict, looking forward to more videos next year. Always thanks for this stress reliever.
Seriously, allowing them off with just a ticket makes the apprehension useless. They'll never learn, impound the bike automatically! And they have to go back to driving school before they can retrieve their bikes.
@@ahmadyaqeenmohammad6564 I'm not sure they have a central database to validate that. At this point with social media and all, nobody can claim they do not know what the proper crash helmet and attire should be, nor they can claim they don't know driving without license is illegal. If one is caught specially without a license, not just left at home or on a friends house etc. The vehicle should be forfeited in favor of the government. The rider should face jail time or 6 months community service. At this point this country needs extreme measures for these people to understand and take this seriously. MMDA should present lawmakers their data and convince congress the need for stiffer penalties and more power for MMDA.
I plan to make more videos like that, as and when time permits 👍 Most of them are pretty much the same in terms of quality and performance nowadays. There's not many "gems" that really stand out against the others.
May I request too, to check the area of Novaliches Bayan which is really crowded both the road and the pedestrian walkpath. Many drivers not wearing helmets and also the vendors especially at night time. Some vendors especially at night is blocking the pedestrian walk that's why I, myself, walking almost in the vehicle road. I hope the authorities will try to look for it. Thanks!
Barangay usually doesn't care or nobody cares. In Singapore how they improve is they encourage people to voice out which through a complaint and its direct to the police not barangay.
9:29 I wonder why the Merc still has the German number plate on it. Is that some kind of chad move? Having multiple plates on your car will get you stopped real fast over here!
Daming abusado.
What is obvious in this situation is that the drivers don't give a damn about the law. Since these operations have been ongoing for a very long time and don't appear to be making a dent, the government should restructute. For example, if a driver is caught without a license, the government should impose a more severe penalty, jailtime if needs be, make the penalties unreasonable just for them to follow. A certain number of apprehension should suspend or revoke a license. We spend millions of pesos on these barangays who are at best useless and corrupt, they too should also be held accountable for not performing their duties, best if abolished.
It would probably be more effective if they had the penalty increase for succeeding apprehensions. Especially for illegal parking which is just fixed at a low rate of P1000 if you show a license - no matter how many times you've been caught.
I have a question, I’ve been living here with my wife for 9 months now and I see so many vehicles with flashing red and blue lights in the grills of the vehicles. They appear to be personal vehicles and not police. So my question is, are they police or personal vehicles and if they’re personal vehicles is this legal?
It's not legal. In fact, you can report those. There was a time when the LTO was very aggressive in apprehending those kinds of vehicles. Unfortunately, they've slowed down these past few months.
They use it to try and intimidate poor people who don't know any better to move out of their way because they're obviously better than all of us. Sarcasm intended. When someone in an obvious private vehicle comes up behind me with their fake flashers and even honks at me for not moving I don't acknowledge them at all. If you want to pass you're going to have to work for it bud. If you're an actual VIP that needs to get somewhere unimpeded you'll have actual police escort.
It's disappointing how seeing this makes us realize we will never progress to be a first world country. It's because we have undisciplined, uneducated citizens.
A lot of people have simply given up. They'll complain that the problem is due to a lack of enforcement but they'll also complain that enforcement is unreasonable and unfair. If only they could realize how much better things could be, for EVERYONE, if the rules were really obeyed and enforced.
what if the baranggay will be also penalized? kada illegal parking, me multa ang kagawad at kapitan? tignan mo, pag mag cclearning sila pa number 1 mag aayos nyan.
Hi GA, can I request the MMDA to clear Sampaloc Road an access road going to Fairview Area from Caloocan. This road is fully obstructed by business owners and illegal parking. This road is being used by a lot of motorists daily
The best way to request a clearing in a specific area is to directly message the MMDA through Twitter, Facebook or use the 136 hotline. Alternatively you can use the 8888 service, via phone or online.
How about passing a law that puts vehicles in GRINDER when impounded 2 times or more? That way it does not need to go back to roads while the scraps can be made into valuable materials like bars, seats, tables, barriers, and so on. Hopefully, the drivers who committed the same violation 3 times or more will have a more difficult process for having their LICENSE or not at all.
i think the penalties should be made higher as in higher just to keep them from doing what theyre doing.... my goodness ...its just annoying why they break the law... please increase the penalties.

Was that a legit firetruck driver? On a shirt, shorts and wearing slippers? But he should have just run though those vehicles, let them deal with the dings, dents and scratches.
@@GadgetAddict I see, but still if legit responders are showing up like that, how do they expect common people to follow the same rules? In any case, they should be protected by a law that allows them to flow through obstructions aside from human life and face no consequence. So they don't have to tiptoe on that sea of illegally parked cars. In fact, after the response, the law should require the barangay to identify all the vehicles that were damaged, not to pay them but for them to pay the damage on the fire truck.
Well, these people think they are supermen! But culture-wise, the thought of danger and death is not part of the daily mind-paradigm of the Filipino. We believe only old people die...
The pinnacle of human stupidity.
Drainage tongue sticking up done by the government worker in Australia if a person got tripped cause injury they are liable $100,000 minimum. Baranggay is only decoration and taxpayer's waste of money.
