In firmware 1.02, they changed the custom profile from [L3+R3] to [L1+R1+L3+R3] for turn on/off. The 8BitDo Ultimate Software app does not say this, so I struggled to get it to work until reading this in an update summary.
Came here for this issue, thanks. Do you know when exactly you’re suppose to press those buttons? I press them after the controller syncs to the receiver but there’s no vibration like the app says and the button mappings are still the defaults
Thank you! All I wanted to know if you can change button mapping directly on the switch. Guess not other then the regular way of button change options in game.
yeah, DS4 works fine, very low lag! I've covered the adaptor in-depth in an older video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c9pqTH8npf4.html
still on the fence between this and the Magic-S Pro. the haptic feedback/hd-rumble features that the 8bitdo has are extremely appealing, but i want to use it on the ps4 too. guess i just gotta pull the trigger on the Magic-S Pro and live without the rumble features.
Can't get the remap to work for the life of me. It's synced just like in the video. I used both sticks to try an activate it. I get the double vibrate which is supposed to mean it's on but literally nothing changes.
I have the same issue. Did you ever figure out a solution? One of the other commenters said they changed it so it’s actually l1, r1, l3, r3 but that didn’t work for me either. My controller didn’t even vibrate
Bro for whatever reason my 8bitdo adapter doesn't work. The adapter connects to the switch, the controller connects to the adapter but switch ignores it completely. The wired connection is on and I tried with ps4, xbox one s and switch pro controller but none of them works
@@christieoliveira7014 yes I did, I just had to hold the sync button from the 8bitdo adapter for between 5-10 seconds and then I reconnected my controller
Dont buy the grey one. Get the brown one. I bought the grey one and it does not work with the Dualsense PS5 controller. They look the same but they are different products. the brown one is usable with the PS5 controller and the grey one cannot work with the PS5 controller
