When you set a background image for referencing, the image should be linked to the camera choice, no the painel. For example, I usually work with two panels. One for the perspective and the other I cycle through the views accordingly to what I want to see (with asigned shortcuts). But the freaking image set to the background remains the same for all views.
The Foreground Object was NOT removed. It's just not in the interface when Redshift is the Active Renderer. SHIFT-C for Commander and type "Foreground" to add one. Then use C4Ds Standard Material to load an image for the Foreground.
They took the background object and removed it. Why? This is all fine and good for orthogonal but NOBODT is talking about the perspective viewport. Fairly useless to not give all the info.
