CFW is impossible as of now, we don't have the private keys to sign the firmware. Unless they get leaked, there's realistically not much we can do in terms of making the jailbreak permanent

So, if you were not using the button ok the router and you had to run using the web browser, can you use the ps4 web browser? I was a little confused there if you meant a browser on your pc or on the ps4?

Hey Modded Warfare, it seems it won't work on all OpenWRT compatible Routers. I got an TP Link Archor C6 with OpenWRT, just tried the guide but it is sadly stuck on downloading the zip, since my router is limited to 2 mb of space. Thanks for the effort of doing this tho!

Arduino chip w5100 will definitely work with this jailbreak as it also has Ethernet port so no additional adapter and it's cheaper than raspberry pi

I think it's never. You can't modify PS4 firmware because of code digital signing, trusted bootloader and other protection measures. If it were possible, it would have already been done on 9.0 and previous jailbroken versions. But it's not.

Interesting, this has me recalling how Taihen on the PS Vita used to work as an executable eMail Attachment. Before Henkaku CFW made that 'ploit permanent. Or at least executable on to itself at boot, basically making it permanent. Why can't we have something like Henkaku on the PS4? Were we handed the Vita Security Keys, along with those of the PS3 (
