That’s really funny (and smart) to put troublesome clients far away 😂 Thanks for the breakdown!

Great video, would love to see your rig setup with the c-stand behind and adaptor attach to you monitor

Nice video as always! The center of a video village should always have a DIT as well to make sure color, exposure, and data are being monitored properly. TV Logic is my monitoring equipment of choice, alongside teradek wireless in the future

Great discussion. Only thing additional I would have like to see you cover was how to mount the monitor. Cstand? Rolling stand? Table top? How to keep it from being damaged by someone on set tripping over the long SDI cable?

Thanks Gregg. I bolted a Kupo mount on the back of mine, so it works great with both c-stands and light stands: bhpho.to/2IUW2sr - I use it wirelessly most often, so no SDI cables to trip on.

How do you encode a movie on youtube? h.264? raw?

When you’re on set, and the people in video village want to see a playback of the previous take, do they just have to somehow relay that information to the camera operator? So that they can hit the playback function on the camera? Or is there a way to playback on the monitor without needing the Cam Op to do anything? Also, what about Audio monitoring? How is that done? Thanks for the informative video!

Yes, generally I use walkies to communicate for playback. Additionally, audio is transmitted with the wireless transmitter receiver. Generally, this is just the scratch audio from the camera, unless the camera has a feed from the boom / sound op.

Have you ever used c200 built in WiFi to monitor?

Couple if times. Its only about 5 frames a second so its very jerky and doesn't give a good representation of the image you're getting. It does let you start and stop the camera and change the settings, including focus, which is ace.
