@@JustinWessling The word Arctic comes from the ancient greek word arctos, meaning bear, refering to the land under the constellation of the Bear. Antarctic isn't an ant-bear but the anti-arctic, the land opposit to the Arctic.

The "barter" option is very useful. Gold is needed for "purchase", but you would need to save every single bit of gold if you wanted to upgrade to Province or King. Another problem is, you can only produce metal after becoming a Province, and it's still slow as hell. So the only way to gain metal reliably is to overproduce other resources and barter them for metal.

I lost my King status in a year since I wasn't prepared for the gold requirements..but was able to spam gold collectors before downgrading. Now King for more than 10 years with 36 collectors and selling science points

@@raingaming8 Still balancing things out, but I'm getting the hang of it. My goal is to hold all badges at the same time, but there are several buildings I still can't unlock, but all my remaining exploration spots are King exclusive which take a lot of time to complete. Wonder if those unlocks are random, this is only my first play so I have no idea.

Watching the intro. Penguins live in the Antarctic Circle and considering where Sweden is, you probably can go to Ikea in the Arctic circle. Not checking that though.

Okay, Matt, I’ll help: Canada, the “Great White North” just below the Arctic circle, has a polar bear on their $2 coin. Australia, with the Southern Cross constellation on their flag and Antarctic territory, released a commemorative coin with a penguin last year.

I wish the game would capitalize on the fact that they are penguins, even for fishing they use a net and they use a hammer with their tiny wings? It feels like you could replace the penguins with people or any other thing and it would be the same... That's why I like timberborn better, it loves making the beavers be beavers!

Dear RCE, After watching your Hydrology Engineer videos I definitely pay attention to all the gullies and man hole covers. I even notice when there are low spots in the ground and notice the double gullies. I have become an engineer. You're welcome. 😊
