smart saying "iPhone 12" giving the impression you were testing the newest iPhone. I see what you did there, and I fell for it haha. hook , line and sinker lol
Isn't the bad quality an issue of the technology itself. So bt only allows 8khz recordings via headphones afaik. At least all my bt headsets sound bad because they can only record 8khz via Bt
Is nobody going to mention that it says iPhone 12 in the title? I think the leaks were so accurate/drawn out this year that we all collectively already feel like the phone has been out for a while. Either way, I searched “moment iPhone 12” to see if they had some thoughts on how they will integrate the new ProRAW API, which has me excited (and annoyed that camera manufacturers can’t step up the game into computational photography-imagine a mirror less with an A14!). I want to know if my 11 Pro Max will get ProRAW, it sounds like it might not. We shall see...
Hey gang, thanks for the share. I was hoping that a feature for audio monitoring with AirPods, while the MV88 is plugged in would be incredibly useful. Then I can completely become Robert Rodriguez. Let me know what you think?
I came to learn about AirPods as a mic and I def was just sold on this app. Headed to the App Store. This app looks pretty high quality so here’s to hoping there’s a free trial for me broke arse 😅
We make a lot of RU-vid videos, and this year has been terrible because of all the wind. Can anyone suggest anything to help cancel out the wind noise? We’re using a new iPhone filming in 4k, we’ve tried cheap external mics but they actually magnify some of the wind haha. Does the Pro Camera app help at all?
thanks, I am a personal trainer and am trying to record more of my video on my own, having an employee just became such a hassle I downloaded your app thanks will try shooting with that today, my question is a screen protector, I realized the screen protector I had on my iPhone made the lights have glare so pulled it off, do you use your phone without a screen protector?? just scared to drop the phone now thanks!!
Finaly stereo audio recording!!!! Uhuuulll!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Now i use my Sennheiser Ambeo Smart Headset!!!! Thank you very very very very very!!!! Hahahahahahaheheheheheh 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for the video. I saw in the video that you were using a case for the iPhone 12 that could fit my Moment lenses. Could you give us some more details about that case please? Will it fit the iPhone 12 Pro Max?
Cool video and update! Love seeing Caleb on more vids, but miss Kearns. Dude was solid! ☹️ Either way, still looking forward to see iPhone 12 content soon. 😇
@@moment If you're down, send me a message with your Venmo handle and I'll send it! I'm actually making a brisket tonight for an all-night cook for a friend for tomorrow evening, so no time for me to make a newbie edit, but if you make an edit, I'll make an edit (it'll also give me a reason to smoke another brisket!).
I always thought moment was a gimmick but honestly when I’m not carrying my R5 or Pentax QS1 I always have my phone and a moment lens or two and it helps with getting some pretty cool shots in the moment lol no pun intended
I honestly wouldn't rely on Airpods, period! The noise filter degrades and compresses the audio. As for the Shure MV88+, sure you get the benefit of plugging directly into the iPhone, but to me personally there's no Shock absorption from what I can see plus it's really pricey. Personally, I would recommend the Deity D4 Duo. Yes you will need a dongle adapter but 1) It's multi-input. It's already got two built in mics, a front and back mic (perfect for vlogging) and records two channels worth of audio which brings me to, 2) because of it's design it has an input channel. That means that instead of using the rear microphone you can instead attach a wireless mic or lavaliere mic (like the Rode wireless go) 3) It has a shock mount included with the mic. just slide the mic into the mount and you've got nice and clear audio with no bumps baked into the sound! 4) Last point is that it's cheaper in comparison the D4 duo is only $89 There are other options as well like Deity's vLav or Rode's smart Lav or even the Rode Videomicro, VideoMic Me(-L). VideoMic Me-L is designed specifically for iPhones.
