How to use AlfaOBD to deflate Quadralift air springs to reservoir when doing maintenance or removing air springs. Please make sure car is on stands before starting this process.
Thank you so much for these last 2 videos, I know people have asked in the past have asked for them and I really appreciate you doing it. Any chance you'll do a spacer install video?
Daniel, can you use this procedure of deflating the air strut to gain enough space on top of the strut to fit the 2” spacer or does the strut have to be removed completely to fit the spacer’s?
i'm wondering this as well. fully deflated and mayve even throw a ratchet strap around it to completely collapse it, can it allow the 2" spacer without driveshaft removal?.. what spacer are you going with
Hi Daniel, I am about to fit 2" spacers to my QL WK2. When delfating an air spring back to resevoir, do you do one corner at a time? Or can both front springs be done at the same time? What happens when I'm done, does the system refill the spring automatically, or does something need to be done in AlfOBD? Also, once the spring is deflated, I presume its simply a matter of disconnecting the air line? But then when reinstalling the air spring, how do your prevent normal air in the strut from entering and mixing with the nitrogen once reconnected and reinflated? Or does this not matter? Thanks mate.
Hello Daniel, very good video, I need to deflate my front right air suspension, but I am not sure how to do the deflation procedure, that is, should support be placed under the jeep before deflation (raise it with the jack and put a stand)? , the manual says that these two steps must be done: 1. Disable the air suspension system. 2. Run the Spring Deflate To Reservoir routine on the air suspension spring on the side where the lower control arm is to be removed. How should the first step be done? how did you do it? I hope you can guide me, thank you!
@@DanielDjuracic Thanks for answering! Before putting the jeep on the stand, do you put the jeep in jack mode, or disable the system by pressing the button to raise the suspension and the button to lower the suspension at the same time?
Hey, i need some help, i done the same, added 2inch in front, or1 and or2 working but not Parking, i still have the level airlinks, tried to swap to original but even worse, how can make the park work
I NEED HELP PLEASE, I NEED HELP. I Replaced the front right shock absorber and compressor for leaks. I refilled the Nitrogen reserve and all the shock absorbers. Everything was perfect until I reached the suspension height. My Jeep Summit has been in the garage for two months and I can't get the factory measurements. Some say 85mm rear and 55mm front and others tell me 85 front and 45 rear, I don't know what else to do.
@@DanielDjuracic I am using Alfaobd, when I finished all the work it gave me this message. (Height sensors are not calibrated. Please calibrate height sensors and and try again) I, DON'T KNOW HOW TO CALIBRATE IT, what is the procedure please.
@@DanielDjuracic Sorry, I didn't answer you correctly. NO, I didn't touch anything, I just replaced the damaged parts and that was it. I raised my jeep in 4 towers, disconnected the battery, refilled with nitrogen, then a short nitro at each shock and filled completely at the rear and the same in the front and then refilled the tank. That was all I did according to a step by step video by Norman
@@DanielDjuracic okay yeah i have mine lifted quite a bit and jba has some for lifted jeeps and i was thinking about getting those to improve the angle. Do you know if the ride height sensor and auto level headlight sensor are the same bracket/link?
