Hey you guys. In today's video, I will be trying Aloe Vera Gel on my hair for the first time. There are many ways to use Aloe Vera, such as a pre poo, hair treatment, leave in conditioner, etc. but I used it solely as my moisturizer and styler. Hazel Goddesss I use it as a prepoo: it helps so much to detangle my hair with no breakage... I really love it, it has an amazing slip...

Hazel Goddesss last time I mixed with black tea rinse and some glycerine... it melted my knots and it was so easy to detangle. Plus it really reduced my shedding... doing it again tomorrow ...

PERFECT TIMING! I JUST used AV for the first time as a preepoo day before yesterday and I loved it! I have more AV in the fridge (I grow it but I stayed away cause I hate the smell and I grew up being forced to eat it....blah) so...let's see what else I can do with it Edit: I pronounce it as "Ah-low"

I’ve gotten the plant from my local grocery store. Make sure you strain it before applying it on your hair or you’ll have tons of flakes. I like this gel too tho since all the work is done for you and you still get the same benefits. Lovely outcome as always!!

you should try aloe Vera and shea butter , Bomb asf combo , my twist out was so Amazing, i'm caribbean and aloe is a holy grail for us ! I used for my skin too

I’ve been using the gel my skin for years, I put it on when my face is damp, then put a light moisturizer on top. It helps with skin texture.

I grew up hearing and pronouncing it Al-low and I use it mainly for my scalp bc I have seborrheic dermatitis and it takes the itch away thank god! I'll spray my hair too with it mixed with water bc I apply my leave in if I'm feeling jazzy lol

Okay, when you unraveled, that's how my hair looked (while dirty) and I was shook! My hair didn't feel dry when I rinsed it out 5 hours later (my hair before I used it wasn't washed in 3 weeks (I had exams so I was lazy), it was 98% shrunken, and obviously tangled). I'll definitely do it again. I do think that your hair might have been drier because it was thinner than what I made (I used naptural85 recipe of pulsing it with a bit of water and then straining it) and I used oil over it. I have heard though, if you are going to use it as a styler, you can't use it alone so.....a cream, leave in, or something similar is essential. Great video as always

Your hair came out nice, I purchase products with aloe in them, since I know my hair loves it. Haven't tried aloe gel yet, but I did purchased some from Amazon to to use on my hair, now I know to use it with a moisturizer for styling

I normally use aloe vera as a prepoo. Never thought to use it as a styler because I hate to touch it as I have a plant lol but you look soooooooo bomb 😍

Nina Cardoza that’s my other favorite product of hers. Great for one product wash and gos, so moisture packed and a little bit goes a long way.

Beautiful ❤️ I use it as prepoo or a leave-in, depends on my mood. Mine is straight from the plant cuz it’s cheap. It doesn’t do much for my skin either-but my acne is mainly hormonal.

Someone PLEASE help me understand why aloe Vera causes my hair to have EXTREME static! If I leave the aloe in my hair or even wash it out with water (even if I've applied it to wet hair) my hair are super shiny, soft, glossy and put together, but just SOOOO tangled and literally crackle with static! Why is this happening? I think I have medium porosity hair and my mum and brother both have high porosity hair and they have the same results? I can't find anyone else on the internet with the same reaction as I have with aloe! Even my body hair get static!

I get my aloe leaves from the grocery store and I use it as a pre poo sometimes when I feel like my hair needs extra like after protective styles. I don’t like to put it on my skin from the leaf because it burns me a little

That's because of the enzymes present naturally that would deactivate after some time in bottled products. So you can keep a separate batch just for your skin in the fridge, like"age" it first.

I said Aloe whatever the pronunciation I need it bad my hair use to he very thing and long but I've gotten cute hairstyles cut but its thinning at top and I'm sure because I'm getting old but wish I could try this to hopefully help it grow back 🤔🙄😢

Aw. Try some oils on your thinning areas and be very gentle when styling
