Adding Sub Defense to a Ninja Squid shirt is a genuinely immense help because point sensor spam invalidates the only benefit of Ninja Squid. Mitigating that time spent marked allows for more sneaky flanks.
It’s definitely great having sub resistance up on the Splattershot Pro for it’s power and range while having a low mobility. It makes it dealing with weapons like the Splatana Stamper a lot more easier and win the fight because they can’t do the burst combo anymore and also thanks to the Pro’s range too.
I feel like the inability for this ability to survive one shot bombs is kinda dumb, like you’re sacrificing the majority of your gear abilities for this and it can’t even help against the good bombs. Hell, make it require even more to survive a splat bomb, I feel like anyone willing to put on a full sub resistance set deserves it. If they could make main power up.. just in general, they can make sub resistance let you survive a one shot.
I know this is late but, they should make it so if you have 57 AP of the ability, you take 99.9 damage from bombs. You are using ALL your gear for this, so i feel like it should be worth it. You can just shoot them after anyway. It definitely won't be used in comp if that were to happen lmao
@@Fanican yeah that’s what I’m thinking, if you’re spending your entire gear load out on the ability to not take as much damage from bombs, you should at least have a chance to live the blast from one. The only thing current sub defense up really gives you is slightly better against burst bomb, since not many subs are really for dealing damage anyway.
I think this will really help my undercover brella. People tend to throw there subs at it a lot. And since it’s a infiltrator it’ll be nice to not get marked.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I can try to explain what I did if you want. If you could be a little more specific, I'll try to respond as soon as I can.
I recorded me using the special (and bomb) and had it land/explode in the top-left part of the screen (where there isn’t any UI). Then I used a combination of colour keying and masking to remove the background. It's a bit tricky sometimes, but that's basically what I did.
I might eventually, but if I do, I'd want to make them look a little bit better, which might take a bit of work. No promises, but I'll let you know if I upload them.
