I am shocked that delivering fast food is even a thing. Fast food has a half-life of about 3 minutes until it is inedible. By the time something gets delivered it’s turned back into cardboard.
A family member who assumes the role of chef and cooks for everyone at home is a saint. If you are lucky enough to have someone like this in your life, appreciate them. They cook with love. Love them back.
And then there's the restaurants that don't even have their own app, it's some third party thing that's never fully up-to-date with what the restaurant offers, or knows their current prices. And don't forget, they generally automatically add on that 10% tip even if you're going to pick it up yourself.
I miss the old days where you can just telephone them, place your order, and then drive there or maybe have a delivery from the actual restaurant. Things were better in the 1990s in this way. Call to order a pizz and chicken cutlets parm hero and then go to pick it up. Easier that way.
I hated calling the restaurants to order. Every time I would hang out with my best friend, I'd have to do it because she was too shy. And after call center experience later in my life, I can't say it reinforced my love for phone calls tbh.
Picking up food from a restaurant or a fast food place such a mixed bag literally that anymore I’m just making my own food at home. I search RU-vid for recipes that mimic my favorite places and then I reproduce them even better in my own kitchen.
I'm single, I'd find it absolutely awkward to go to a legit restaurant alone tbh (if it's not just a kebab joint, a Subway or whatever fast food joint). I order online only once or twice a month tops (sometimes I don't order in over a month or two cuz I feel like cooking at home). I usually do it on my way home from the public transport I'm taking since I'm already doing nothing on the bus/tramway home besides waiting to arrive at my place, which gives the restaurant time to start making my food. If something is not there or the restaurant has a question about my wishes, they call, because in the Central European Uber Eats equivalent, they ask for a phone number, and let me know if they don't have something or if they need clarification. Also you can give in the delivery time with "as soon as possible" or a real evening time, so you can plan ahead when you think you're going to need to eat something. The only time I got a weird interpretation of my order is a pizza without cheese (I can't eat cheese), the restaurant called and asked to confirm. And when the delivery got there, the restaurant staff put the feta cheese cubes that the pizza usually has in the pizza box, next to the pizza.. which I just threw in the trash with the quintessence of the confused expression on my face because that was a waste of food that they could have used on someone else's pizza. As far as portions, can't complain there either, especially when it comes to Indian food here. Whenever I order Indian food, I know I'll have leftovers for work the next day. The only thing is gas is expensive here, so delivery cost rose, or the amount to order to get a free delivery/minimum sum of the order is done so cunningly by the restaurants that they kinda force you to order a drink or an appetizer for 5-7€ more (example: the minimum price of the order is 10€, they'll make the main courses 8,90€ or something a bit below 10€ so that you have to order a "cheap" item for 4,50€ or more to get to the minimum of 10€), which is a counter incentive for me to order. Besides, the tax on food/culinary goods rose as well from 7% to 19%, so I only give myself a small budget for restaurants visits/ordering food anyway,
Funny you should post this today! During my lunch break, I used my mobile app to order Chipotle (because your last video made me want Chipotle). I got seriously ripped-off on my steak.
Yeah, Chipotle isn't great with their online orders as well. I ordered my food order online during my night shift at my job for lunch the next day and paid it after making the order, mind you. I arrive there after waking up from my job shift in the afternoon and when I arrived at the Chipotle at my town, and they didn't get my order ready. Luckily, I had my order confirmation to prove it, show it to them and they make my order but they kind of messed it up thou lol. At least I didn't have to paid it again due to having my order confirmation from my email just in case.
Krispy Krunchy Chicken forgot drinks on purpose when I ordered from them until I started telling my driver to ask them for the drink. They would give cans of soda.
Do you think it is somehow possible your subscribers on here can superseed your movie channel? In a way that would be pretty cool b/c I can honestly say this is funnier than the movie channel, but I like the movie channel as well clearly.
