USING ARTGRID STOCK FOOTAGE to make EPIC FILMS 

I genuinely had no idea that your entire short film was all composed of stock footage! That still blows my mind!

I use a lot of footage from Artgrid and Filmpac for my music videos. Artgrid is very cinematic and creative, but the site currently lacks one feature that Filmpac has which makes putting a story together so much faster and more consistent. Filmpac has a model directory so you can pick your film's "actors" and find all of the site's footage with the same actors. They have a lot of models and many of them are featured in multiple types of sequences. I'm not sure Artgrid will be able to do that because that use numerous filmmakers to create their catalog. Filmpac, however, is mainly "in-house" production. That makes creating a model search fairly simple for them since they know all the actors and work with them frequently. I've seen a lot of stock video production companies do this, but they syndicate their footage and sell through multiple distributors like Artgrid, Storyblocks, Dissolve, Videohive / Envato Elements, etc. So with sites like Artgrid and these others, you have to look at each filmmaker's catalog individually and see if you can manually find a selection of actors that will work. Unfortunately, many of the filmmakers on Artgrid only supply a relatively limited catalog, so you don't have a lot of variety with what their models are doing. That means you have to break up your story into pieces with various sequences using different "actors" - like what you did here. You can do that with some music videos, but it's not always easy and it often makes a music video seem awkward and without a consistent theme for the lyrics. Hoepfully, Artgrid will get around to working on this because their footage is great and a good amount of it is perfect for music videos. Anyway, good video! - PS: Are you Matti's brother?

Just want to let you know that the "free trial" part is quite incorrect. I was extremely disappointed to realize that the "free 2 months" is actually just an extra 2 months added to the yearly subscription that you have to buy no matter what. there is no trial

theres zero dimension we do not meet any of the characters, weird concept, and if it is meant to be used instead of generic shots of people between the storytelling parts, wheres the story? the yare still advertising you can make a whole movie out of what they have hahah
