will these tapes adhere to a plastic dash replacement that has been sprayed with SEM Textured paint?

Hi do you think if you had a masking tape dispenser you could wear on either hip could make masking jobs faster and easier?

Some may find it helpful. For me I'd likely forget it was there and run it down the side of the car. I typically have one roll of tape in my hand for taping, and nothing else... then if I need a thinner or thicker roll of tape I grab one of those.
